A 15-year-old young lady was sexually assaulted and killed after she declined to put on a costume for a photograph shoot, the Hong Kong High Court heard on Wednesday (Dec 27).
As indicated by neighborhood reports, the young lady had agreed in meeting up with the suspect, Lau Cheung-fai, and met him at the Langham Place shopping mall in Mongkok on Dec 8, 2014. They then went to Lau’s apartment nearby.
At the point when the young lady, who was used to wearing shaded contact lenses and colouring hair, declined to wear an costume for the photo shoot, Lau supposedly hit her head over and again with a glass ketchup bottle, the South China Morning Post revealed.
He then tied her neck and lower legs up with nylon links, and wrapped sticky tape round her head and wrists. He additionally constrained the young lady to drink Chinese wine, took off her clothing and “sexually assualted her”, the report refered to prosecutor Martyn Richmond as saying.
By at that point, “she was suffocating … she was dying”, Richmond included. Lau apparently squeeze the young lady’s body into a bag and wheeled the baggage to Harbor Hotel.
SCMP said the trial continued on Thursday.
