A few photos of a damaged air-conditioning unit hanging by a cable were shared by a Facebook user to Complaint Singapore Facebook page.

From the photos, it can be seen that the metal rack supporting the air-conditioning unit has given way due to rust. The only thing that was preventing the air conditioning unit from falling was the cables that were attached to it.
According to a netizen, the incident happened on the 13 Dec 2020 at a HDB block located in Chao Chu Kang. It was said that the area was immediately blocked off for the safety of the residents and the damaged unit has since being fixed.
