A hotel and apartment complex in Genting Highlands, Amber Court, has a reputation for being haunted throughout the decades.
The management committee of the property said during a press conference on Wednesday that the rumours are false and are threatening legal action against the claims.
The chairman of the committee said that the allegations are “baseless” and that “none of us has ever seen a ghost, let alone been disturbed by supernatural activity”, according to The Star.
They are threatening to take legal action against YouTubers, Feng Shui masters, online celebrities and netizens for “making up supernatural happening in Amber Court”.
He added that some visitors are trespassing into the homes of the residents in the middle of the night while filming and that it is “unacceptable”, describing them as “people who have nothing better to do”.
They also played videos at the press conference showing how some content creators are adding fake crying sounds and actors in their videos.
