Amber Heard is currently embroiled in a lawsuit against her ex-husband Johnny Depp, with the latter suing her for defamation for an op-ed that she wrote, claiming that he assaulted her in their marriage.
During her lawyer’s opening statement, Elaine Bredehoft (her lawyer) made the claim that Heard used a makeup product by Milani Cosmetics to cover up the bruises that Johnny Depp allegedly caused her during their marriage.
However, the makeup company has since come forward and debunked the seemingly fallacious claims.
The company said that the product that Heard claimed to have used to hide her alleged bruises, was only launched in 2017, but Heard’s allegations of domestic violence spanned from between 2012 to 2016.
Milani Cosmetics even released a TikTok video to address the claims, with the public being of the opinion that Heard was lying in court.
Johnny Depp is currently suing Amber Heard for $50 million in compensation for defamation and falsely claiming that she was a victim of his domestic violence.
