Following a petition against Amber Heard by fans asking for her to be removed from the upcoming Aquaman movie, a film journalist, Grace Randolph, revealed that Heard’s screentime in the movie has been cut to 10 minutes.
This comes in the wake of the online petition against Heard reaching more than 3.6 million signatures, in the midst of shocking new revelations emerging from Johnny Depp’s defamation lawsuit against her.
The 36-year-old actress, who has been openly criticised by many for her mediocre acting ability at playing for the cameras in the courtroom and hearings, will return to play her character of Mera in Aquaman 2.
However, her screen time in the movie will be less than 10 minutes, with some netizens expressing their dismay, saying even one second is too much.
Heard is currently being sued by Johnny Depp for $50 million, for an op-ed that she wrote in a 2018 Washington Post article, implying that he was guilty of domestic violence against her.
