AMK POLICE DIVISION ARRESTED MAN WHO CHEATED POKEMON CARD COLLECTORS OF $176,000

Gotta catch them all or gotta scam them all. A 28-year-old man was apprehended by the Police officers from Ang Mo Kio Division after over 15 victims were cheated for over the amount of $176,000.

The Police received several reports from a number of victims that they were scammed by a Pokemon Card seller. The victims would first have to make bank transfers and after the funds have been received by the 28-year-old, he would then go missing in action.

The man who was arrested yesterday (Jan 5) was found to be involved with at least 15 victims.

If the man is found guilty of cheating he faces a jail term of up to 10 years along with a fine.
