A story was shared on Facebook of how a man who was jogging along Singapore River allegedly pulls the dogs leashed and flung her dog to the railing
Here is the story:
Hello Shiba Lovers! I have some terrible news.I wish that I connected with all of you here on a better note but here’s what happened this morning and I need all your #ShibaLove power! Pumpkin (my 4.5-month-old Shiba Inu) and I were walking along the Singapore River just like any other day.
I was holding on to the leash walking in the middle of the pavement.Pumpkin was walking near the grass like normal dogs do.Suddenly, this man in black running attire, blue sneakers and grey curly hair (I’m guessing 40s to 50s) came running from behind, took my leash and flung pumpkin to the railing. He continues running but I caught up and confronted him. I asked him why he did that.

He proudly said “your dog was blocking my way! Watch your dog!”
I apologised to him for blocking his way and said he has no rights to do that. Then as soon as I said I was going to take a picture of him to make a police report, he ran away. I only managed to get his back. I believe he lives nearby (at Robertson Quay) as another dog owner I met downstairs said he looks familiar and has a very recognisable head of grey, curly hair.He is white, tall and slender.
But I’m not sure where he could be from.I now no longer feel safe walking my puppy and am not sure if he’s injured.
But if you know him, I would really appreciate your help in identifying him as I have made a police report but they need his identity.
You may send me a Direct message or connect with me on IG @pumpkinandmama (for updates as well). This is discrimination – in my own country here in Singapore. If I were male, or bigger in size, or white like he is, I don’t think he would have done what he did today.Thank you so much And in the meantime, keep your furbabies close to you
PS. A police report has already been made. But they need a front-facing photo to help identify who it is.To the admin: Thanks for letting me into the group. I hope this post doesn’t violate any of the rules. If it does, please let me know and I’ll remove it.

UPDATE 08 Jun: His photos will not be shared as I’m not doing this to defame him publicly, only to identify him and let him know that what he did was wrong and he’d have to face whatever the consequences are as a result of it. The pictures have, however, been submitted to the police.
A neighbour spoke to him and managed to get his mobile number.Another kind person also shared his first name with me. I think we have enough to know who he is now. So I will let the authorities deal with the matter and will keep the community updated.
Thank you again for all your kind and heartfelt messages. Pumpkin seems a lot better today than he was yesterday – we even played hide and seek in the flat this morning! All good!-UPDATE 07 Jun: Someone has spotted him outside Great World City and sent me pictures of him. Thank you so much guys. I’m sending it to the police.
