A couple of British YouTubers, Jolly, got their hands on some Singapore Army combat rations from a Singapore supplier.
They then filmed a reaction video of themselves trying the food.
The YouTube duo, Josh Carrott and Ollie Kendal, tried the SAF way of “drinking” the instant coffee; which is by pouring the coffee powder into your mouth before gulping a mouthful of water and mixing them in your mouth.
He described it as “surprising” and “not bad”.
They then tried the combat rations, including “black pepper pasta with sausage”, “lentil curry”, “Javanese noodle with chicken franks” and “curry rice with chicken”.
They described the food as tasting good, despite its disgusting appearance.
Kendal described the Lentil curry as having a “nutty poo” texture.
