I’m still single

When Jernelle Oh, the show’s host, probed Ann about her relationship status, Ann candidly confessed that she was single. She added a touch by mentioning, “I don’t even have any suitors.”

Jernelle, showing a bit of skepticism, questioned Ann about the last time someone tried to win her heart. Ann, in her trademark mysterious style, paused for a moment before coyly replying, “I won’t tell you.” It left the viewers even more intrigued about her personal life.

As the conversation delved deeper into the topic, Ann revealed what she looks for in a partner. She admitted that she enjoys the company of individuals who engage in light-hearted conversations with her and talk about random things.

However, she also shared that such people have often “scared themselves away” from her. Jernelle jokingly commented, “Because these men see you as a goddess, so they feel a sense of fear in approaching you.”

Ann Kok also shared her belief that women should have high expectations when looking for a partner. She emphasized how times have changed and women have become more independent.

According to her, finding an outstanding partner is essential to complement a woman’s independence. She encouraged women to be confident in themselves, underlining the importance of self-assuredness in modern relationships.

Allergic to MSG

Among the topics they discussed also included her food allergies. Ann said that the most serious allergic reaction she had was from eating Bak Kut Teh which had MSG inside it.

She said that her whole body went numb and her friend had to send her back home, where she then became unconscious and didn’t know whether she had fainted or simply fallen asleep.

She was later told by a doctor that she could have died if she wasn’t sent to the hospital.
