The applications for tickets to this year’s National Day Parade (NDP) and the two preview shows will be open from 6 June.
Singaporeans and PRs can apply for 2, 4 or 6 tickets to attend the actual NDP on 9 August or one of the two preview shows on 23 July or 30 July.
Balloting
The NDP 2022 executive committee said in a news release earlier today that each applicant will be entitled to one ballot chance.
Duplicate applications will also be excluded from the balloting process, and tickets will be allocated via an electronic balloting system, and not on a first-come first-served basis.
Those who are successful will be notified via email between 27 June to 1 July.
Only those who are fully vaccinated, have recovered from Covid in the last 180 days, are medically ineligible for vaccination under the national vaccination programme and kids below the age of 12 will be allowed to attend.
Stronger Together
The NDP parade this year will be held at The Float @ Marina Bay, with the theme for this year’s parade being “Stronger Together, Majulah!” calling for Singaporeans to forge ahead as a united and strong people towards a better future.
The national day celebration will start on the weekend of 6 and 7 August, with celebrations being organised in conjunction with the People’s Association at 5 locations across the country.
The theme song for this year’s NDP is Stronger Together, performed by Singapore Idol Taufik Batisah.
