Recently, the Singaporean government announced that it will gradually resume normal social activities in three stages: safety reopening, safety transition and safe country. From June 2, Singapore will relax its blocking measures and enter the “safe reopening” phase.
No Quarantine For Travellers
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), Singapore and China have created a fast lane to allow travellers from Singapore and China to travel between both countries without a 14-day quarantine.
The trips must be sponsored by either a company or a government agency, travellers will have to take a swab test on departure and arrival.
Seeking Approval
Residents in Singapore seeking to make essential travel to China must have a company or govt agency file an application on behalf of the traveller.
Once approved, the traveller will receive an invitation to apply for a visa to China at the Chinese Embassy in Singapore and submit health declarations.
PRC travellers entering Singapore
Similarly, China residents entering Singapore will also have to go through a similar procedure.
Travellers will have to take a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test within 48 hours before departure and tested negative before they are allowed to travel.

In a Facebook post published by Chan Chu Sing, said:
“We will resume essential business travels in a progressive way to balance health and economic considerations. Priority will be for essential business people, technical personnel for critical operations and government officials. “
