I was up in the air working as a flight attendant doing a beverage and snack service. I asked a passenger what he would like to drink. He noticed my Movado watch.
He loudly asked, “Which one of your boyfriends bought you that expensive watch?”. I let him know that it was a gift from my father. He responded, “Oh, so that’s what you guys call them?”
First, the watch was a gift from my biological father. Second, I’m not gay.
This story is about a customer being rude. I believe the watch was just a way for the man to be that way towards me. Also, in the airline industry in the USA, many male flight attendants are gay.
