Woman Who Kissed Auntie Anne’s Pretzel Dough Now Accused of Approaching Cold Stone Creamery for Job
Alice Chang, the woman who went viral for kissing pretzel dough at an Auntie Anne’s outlet in Kuala Lumpur, has found herself in the spotlight again. This time, she is accused of approaching Cold Stone Creamery’s Pavilion Mall outlet for a part-time job.
Chang posted a photo of herself on Instagram, wearing a hygiene cap and mask, appearing to be inside the Cold Stone Creamery store. However, the company has denied that she worked at their outlet, claiming that she had visited their location seeking a part-time position but had concealed her identity.
Cold Stone Creamery stated that Chang was not hired and did not have access to any food items. They also claimed to have “thoroughly cleaned the outlet” after her visit.
However, Chang’s sister, Adeline, has come to her defense, posting multiple photos and videos on Facebook, asserting that Alice had indeed worked at the store for a day but was denied payment for her hours. Adeline shared images of the cashier counter with date and time stamps, as well as videos showing the ice cream-making process, which she claimed served as proof of her sister’s employment. She emphasized that Alice was “clean and hygienic,” noting that she was wearing a cap during her time at the store.
According to reports from Malay Mail, the Chang sisters have a history of engaging in various antics on social media, including instances of not paying for services like Grab rides and participating in controversial TikTok livestreams.
In a separate Instagram post on October 13, Alice shared a photo of herself behind the counter at a McDonald’s outlet, although she was not wearing a McDonald’s uniform. In her post, she sought support from her followers, expressing her desire for “a good job and an income.”
The situation continues to unfold as both Alice and her sister navigate the public’s reaction to their actions, which have drawn significant attention online.
