According to a media release, 42-year-old auxiliary police was found dead yesterday (19 Sep) at 6.16 am at the C2 car park of East Coast Park.

On the same day at around 1.33 am, the police were alerted by the Certis CISCO that a pistol was not returned by auxiliary police after he knocks off from work. Immediately, the police took over the investigation and found the man dead at East Coast Park five hours later.
The man was found shot in his head with his pistol beside him. He was pronounced dead by the paramedics on scene at 7.48 am.
Police investigations are ongoing.
