A 16-year-old is currently under investigation after she was suspected of throwing her newborn baby out of a second-floor bedroom window. Bloodstains were also found on the window grille and bed sheet in the suspect’s room.

The police were called at 12.35 pm before rushing to the scene. A neighbour stated that she heard a loud sound at the back of his house and to his shock, he found a baby.
The baby suffered various head injuries and is currently being treated at the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital. The suspect is at the same hospital undergoing treatment due to still being weak after giving birth.
