Tragic Love Triangle Ends in Violence in Thailand
Bangkok, Thailand – June 1, 2025 – A heartbreaking incident unfolded in Bangkok when a young man, overwhelmed by rejection, fatally stabbed his girlfriend before taking his own. The tragic event occurred on the evening of May 30, 2025, in a two-story house that also served as the address for a fruit and vegetable wholesale business.
The victim, identified as 21-year-old Panada, had recently graduated from a business management program and was helping her family run their produce business. Her boyfriend, 26-year-old Nakarin, had recently returned to a secular life and was reportedly unemployed. Neighbors reported hearing loud arguments coming from the house prior to the incident.
CCTV footage revealed that only Panada and a maid were present in the house at the time of the attack, as other family members were traveling abroad. Panada was discovered lying on the kitchen floor with seven stab wounds to her neck, chest, and body. The scene was gruesome, with blood splattered across the floor and two bloodied knives left behind, one of which had a broken handle.
Authorities believe that Nakarin had gone to Panada’s home to plead for reconciliation, but upon being rejected once again, he lost control and attacked her. The force of the stabbing was so intense that it caused the knife handle to break. After the attack, Nakarin fled to the upstairs bedroom, where he was later found hanging.
The police are currently investigating the case and plan to interview the maid for further details. This tragic incident has raised concerns about domestic violence and the emotional turmoil that can lead to such extreme actions.
As the investigation continues, the community is left to grapple with the devastating consequences of this violent act, highlighting the urgent need for awareness and intervention in cases of relationship conflicts.
