BANGLADESH WORKER KILLED AFTER WALL COLLAPSED ON HIM AT WORK SITE

A 41-year-old worker from Bangladesh died after a wall collapsed on him while he was hacking the wall on the 2nd floor of a landed home, according to the Workplace Safety and Health Council on 16 June.

The fatal incident happened at 44 Tai Hwan Heights on 10 June, according to Straits Times.

He was pronounced dead at the scene after being extricated from the rubble by Singapore Civil Defence Force officers.

The deceased was a worker of Sam Woo (S.E.A), with the occupier of the worksite being Beow Hock Engineering.

Beow Hock Engineering has also been ordered to stop all works at the accident site by the Ministry of Manpower who spoke to ST.
