On Monday (20 February 2017) morning a woman was attacked by bees at Ang Mo Kio Town Garden West opposite Ang Mo Kio Public Library.

Ms Cai a bystander said “i saw the woman, dressed in a sleeveless top and shorts, crouching on the floor. Both her legs were stretched out, she used her hands to cover her face, and her whole body was convulsing, her arms and legs were swollen and red. She was attacked by the bees for about 10 minutes.”
There was about 10 bystanders but they were unable to help.
She was rescued by SCDF after they put a protective cover over her, after the ambulance had been alerted the woman was taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
Police had cordon half the size of a soccer field for safety and investigation.
