After spending almost $9000 on 150 tins of milk powder, a SG woman realised she was cheated. As the seller was uncontactable after taking her money, prompting her to lodge a police report.
She found that the milk powder that was sold by a couple online was at least 20% cheaper. Due to the face she had smooth transaction histort with them she had faith in them which trigger her to start a spree with 14 other mothers.
Before being uncontactable after getting the money, the sellers came up with pretexts like having management issues and vehicles break down.
Even though she was a victim of the crime, she was mistaken for cheating other mothers of their money. In order to appease them, she had no choice but to take a loan from her mother-in-law to repaid them.
