BMW BEATS RED LIGHT BECAUSE HE THINKS THE LAW DOESN’T APPLY TO HIM

A video emerged online showing a BMW making a dangerous right turn at a road junction before beating a red light at a traffic stop.

The incident happened on 12 January at about 10 pm, along Kallang Bahru.

A BMW 730 was seen making a dangerous right turn into Kallang Bahru from the 2nd lane and moments later, the BMW was seen failing to stop at a red light.

Potential penalties

It is an offence to beat a red light in Singapore.

Drivers found guilty of failing to conform to traffic light signals face a composition fine of $400 for light vehicles and $500 for heavy vehicles.
