
A driver reportedly lost control of his BMW and crashed his vehicle into a bus stop, leaving the driver trapped inside the car.
No one was at the bus stop at the time of the incident.
The accident happened at the bus stop in front of the PLQ Mall at Paya Lebar Square, at around 1am on 16 March.
The BMW was believed to have lost control and crashed into the bus stop after hitting a tree.
The police said that they received a call for help at 1.41am about an accident along that area.
The SCDF then received a call at 1.45am saying that a person was found trapped inside the drivers seat of the wreckage.
The 47-year-old male driver had to be extricated from the vehicle by the SCDF using hydraulic rescue tool, and he was then conveyed conscious to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
