My brother and I had been trying to find a way to make some easy money for a while now.
We had heard that our friend had a lot of money and thought it would be a great way to get some of it without having to work for it.
We decided to try to bluff him into giving us some money.
My brother’s plan was to pretend that he was in need of money desperately and that he would do anything to get it. He thought that our friend would feel sorry for him and would be more likely to give him some money.
He also said that if he was convincing enough, our friend would think that he was desperate enough to do something drastic and would be more likely to give him money out of fear.
My plan was much more subtle. I suggested that we tell him about a great new business opportunity that we had heard about and that he should invest in it.
I thought that if we made it sound like a great opportunity, he would be more likely to invest in it and give us some money.
I also thought that it would be a good way to get money from him without him feeling like we were trying to take advantage of him.
My brother thought my plan was foolish and said that his plan was much better. We argued back and forth for a while before finally deciding to try both plans.
We waited until our friend was alone and then tried our plans. We started with my brother’s plan and he put on a really good show. He was convincing enough to make our friend believe that he was really desperate and in need of money.
Our friend ended up giving my brother some money out of pity and my brother was really happy.
I then tried my plan. I told our friend about the great business opportunity that we had heard about and he seemed very interested. I was able to convince him that it was a great opportunity and he decided to invest some money in it.
Eventually we both got our money in our own ways but my brother’s method became unusable after a while because people are mostly likely to be ‘kind hearted’ once or twice only while mine is still doing well because the friend is a sleeping partner and would part with money for the ‘business’ when needed.
