His concerned family quickly put up a missing person notice, offering a substantial reward of 3 million baht (S$116,000) for any information regarding his whereabouts. Unfortunately, there were no leads in the initial days of the investigation.

After a week of intense searching, the police managed to locate Mack by analyzing CCTV footage from the area. On July 10th, they made a horrifying discovery inside a rental home in Chon Buri.

Mack’s dismembered body was found stored in several large trash bags inside a white freezer. The scene was gruesome, and forensic experts also discovered a cordless chainsaw, hedge clippers, and rolls of plastic at the location.

Suspects

The investigation into Hans-Peter Mack’s murder is ongoing, with authorities focusing on both German and Thai nationals as potential suspects.

Details regarding the case have been limited, but witnesses reported seeing two women exiting Mack’s vehicle when it was parked in the condominium parking lot.

Another German woman, who works as a property broker, revealed that she had a meeting with Mack on July 4th to discuss lucrative business opportunities.

However, their paths diverged after the meeting. Police have also uncovered that a significant amount of money went missing from Mack’s bank account, leading them to believe that it could be connected to the murder.
