A video emerged online showing a Subaru Forester mounting the kerb along Serangoon and crashing into the fence on the road divider, before driving away.
The incident happened on 13 May at about 2.25am near Block 152 Serangoon North Avenue 1, and was captured on camera by a GrabFood delivery rider who was nearby at the time.
The rider said that he was doing GrabFood deliveries at the time when he first saw the car at the side of the road stopping without its hazard lights on.
He then went to collect his order before going to check what was happening, and another driver then stopped his car and asked the driver in the video if he should call an ambulance or police for him.
The driver then allegedly waves his hands and drove off, and the other driver said that he smelled strong alcohol from the driver.
