CAR PLAY “BRAKING GAME” CAN BE JAILED, DRIVER CAUGHT ON CAM AT SERANGOON

The vehicle was spotted taking both lanes (lane-splitting) and blocking the vehicle behind from overtaking.

If the man is found convicted of driving dangerously it falls under section 64(1) of the Road Traffic Act (RTA). For first time offenders, they can go to 1 year’s jail and/or up to $5,000 fine.

If someone gets hurt because of dangerous driving the punishment double, if it’s a serious injury that sentence can range from 1 – 5 years in jail, losing a driving license for a minimum of 8 years.

If someone dies 2 to 8 years in jail and disqualified from driving for at least 10 years.
