A video was shared on Sg-share together Facebook page which shows how he and a friend entraps a scammer who ripped him off on Carousell.
The seller was seen talking to the scammer about a USB item which he paid $17 for. He also stated that the seller informed him that the item would be received yesterday, but he did not receive the item as promised even though he had paid for the item.
The scammer then goes on to say that she tried deliver the item by placing it in his letter box but stated that the buyer closed the letter box flap, thus she could not deliver the item. The buyer refuted this and said that he did not close the letter box flap and she did not even attempt to deliver the item.
Other buyers have also complained on this seller as they have been scammed as well. According to the buyer, a police report has been made, but according to the the buyer, the police stated that he should just try to get his item back so that they can close the case.
