WIFE GOT DRUNK & BROUGHT FRIEND TO HAVE “3-PLAYER EXERCISE” WITH HUSBAND,

0

After a wild night of drinking, I made the mistake of welcoming my best friend into a three some with my husband and I. At first it was one of those whoa that was wild moments but then it continued to happen.

About two weeks ago, I had a gut feeling something wasn’t right based on her behavior. She seemed to be always coming around almost everyday and flirting with him in no direct ways.

I relayed to my husband that I had a feeling she liked him. He responded with, yeah maybe that’s why she has been acting all weird in front of me.

Well, last weekend, we had a girls trip and she got extremely hammered. I had no clue that she was communicating with my husband behind my back.

She was bad mouthing me and spreading lies about how unhappy I was and complaining about our bedroom activities (which I never discussed with her) and he believed her.

He was so upset at hearing this that he told her how I had mentioned that I thought she liked him. That opened up hell. She held that info for about 3 hours until she blurted it out “so you think I have a crush on your husband? I thought we were friends. I thought you could come to me about this” on and on and on.

She was really affected by this. I was too upset (with my husband) to respond to her so I put a wall up and didn’t respond or look at her. She did her usual thing which is okay victim and stupidly drive drunk at 3am all the way home.

2 days later I come to find out by looking thru my husbands phone that my gut feeling was absolutely correct. She had been texting my husband. Now, trust me, my husband is also at fault here. But the reason why I’m discussing her end is because she tried to manipulate the situation and lie and say that this never happened when I have the proof.

She wanted so badly to have alone time with him. They even met up one night recently and she got handsy with him as they were saying goodbye.

Then, just last week, I trusted to leave them alone for 20 minutes and he said she tried to go down on him but he stopped her. And when I say tried I mean her mouth was already on it.

She is in full denial and she is upset with me because I called her every name in the book. She states I have no right to do that but that is her way of manipulating the situation.

Long story short, I can’t believe I trusted someone and they went behind my back and did this. I’ve lost every sense of feeling and have no idea what to do next. We have children that I need to consider in whatever outcome I choose.

MUM THINKS DAUGHTER IS UGLY, OTHER PARENTS THINK THEIR KID IS BEAUTIFUL

0

My mom doesn’t think I’m attractive but I think I am. Shouldn’t it be the other way around?

I always hear people say it’s not uncommon for a parent to think their child is beautiful. And “you’re only saying I’m beautiful because you’re my parent.”

But it’s not like that for me. I remember looking at myself in the mirror checking myself out and my mom telling me to stop showing off. I always thought I had a good body with curves in all the right places. I liked admiring myself.

But my mom didn’t. I remember asking her if I could play outside and she asked me “what you wanna show off your body? Or whatever you call a body? Is that what it is? You wanna model?”

That really sucked. I was really confident about my looks and I thought my mom would be proud of that. But instead she made me feel bad about myself.

Netizens’ comments

  1. When I was putting the final touches on my makeup for prom night, my mother passed by the open bathroom door and said, “You’re not as pretty as you think you are.”
Mind you, I was a shy girl. I almost never wore makeup or dresses. This was basically a one-time thing, and I’d just worked my way out of obesity, and for just that moment I’d felt like a princess.
In that moment, it absolutely tore me up. I still feel a little gut clench when I think about it, not because it still hurts but because I feel so much pity for that poor girl I was who just wanted to feel pretty for one night and wasn’t allowed to. I look at the pictures now, and I looked amazing.
Here’s the thing that I realize now: my mom was used to being the pretty one. That’s what her whole life was about. At that point, she was aging while I was hitting my prime, and she just couldn’t stand that.
My daughter went to her first prom last year, and seeing her all made up (she doesn’t really dress up much either) brought tears to my eyes—she was so very beautiful. My beauty is fading and I’m getting older, but I’ve grown so much internally that I don’t really need it anymore, and I’m not jealous of her or any other young woman. That’s what we’re supposed to do.
You are beautiful, too. It’s a shame your mom can’t see it, and I’m sorry for it.
  2. Your mom is projecting her own insecurities onto you instead of acknowledging that you look good. I’m sorry that you’re in that situation.

DRUNK PRC MAN WHO ATTACKED CABBY @ KPE & POLICE WHILE OTW TO BEDOK POLICE HQ, JAILED

0

A 35-year-old Chinese national, Chen Lei, was sentenced to 22 weeks imprisonment on Thursday (13 July) for punching an elderly taxi driver for no reason while inside his taxi, before attacking a police officer while being driven to the Bedok Police Division Headquarters, according to The Straits Times.

What happened?

In the late hours of February 4, 2022, an intoxicated man boarded a taxi after a drinking session.

The unsuspecting elderly cabby, 73-year-old Chor Kin Yong, encountered a barrage of punches from the intoxicated passenger without any provocation.

As Chor Kin Yong was driving Chen Lei through the Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway (KPE) tunnel, the situation suddenly turned violent. Without warning, Chen began punching the cabby’s head and neck.

Acting swiftly, Chor defended himself by blocking the blows with his right hand while maintaining control of the steering wheel with his left hand. Sensing the urgency of the situation, Chor used his mobile phone to call the police for help.

Passer-by intervenes and fends off attacker

Chor brought the vehicle to an emergency stop at a safe spot and quickly exited the taxi. Meanwhile, an eyewitness named Mr. Mohamed Faizal Mohamed Latif observed Chen advancing aggressively towards Chor, who informed him of the assault he had endured.

Stepping in to intervene, Mr. Faizal used his arm to fend off the attacker until the arrival of the police, who responded promptly to the distress call.

The police later arrived at the scene and arrested Chen Lei. One of the officers at the scene, Senior Staff Sergeant Wong Chuen Kit, took charge of escorting the assailant to the Bedok Police Division Headquarters in a police car.

However, en route to the station, Chen demonstrated further acts of violence by kicking Senior Staff Sergeant Wong twice. These unprovoked attacks left the police officer with injuries to his left forearm and back, necessitating medical attention at Changi General Hospital.

Man claimed taxi driver hit him

During court proceedings, Chen Lei claimed that he had been struck by Mr. Chor, the taxi driver. However, the Deputy Public Prosecutors, Regina Lim and Maximilian Chew said that Mr. Chor had been securely strapped to his seat while driving through the KPE tunnel, making it highly implausible for him to have assaulted Chen, who was sitting at the back without putting on his seatbelt.

Additionally, video footage was also produced, showing Chen kicking Senior Staff Sergeant Wong twice in the police car, further validating the charges against him.

District Judge Ronald Gwee presided over the trial and ultimately convicted Chen Lei on one count of assault and two counts of voluntarily causing hurt to a public servant, sentencing Chen to 22 weeks’ imprisonment.

In a deeply disturbing case, the Ministry of Education (MOE) has taken swift action by suspending a primary school teacher, Kenneth Seah Wei Yuan, following allegations of engaging in obscene activities with at least two underage girls.

34-year-old Kenneth Seah Wei Yuan has been suspended by MOE since early July and is facing 5 charges that include allegedly having intercourse with at least 2 underage girls, aged 14 and 15, at staircase landings, according to The Straits Times.

Details of the Offenses

Subsequently, he is accused of committing a similar act with another 15-year-old girl at the same staircase the following month, although it has yet to be determined if both cases involved the same girl as information about the alleged victims were redacted from court documents.

In a separate incident, Seah allegedly got in touch with a 13-year-old girl on several occasions before meeting her on May 17th and he now faces the charge of grooming a minor below the age of 16, although it was not disclosed what he did when he met the alleged victim.

During this encounter, Seah is charged with producing obscene material involving children by recording two videos of them having intercourse there.

MOE’s response

The MOE has expressed its commitment to upholding high standards of conduct and discipline among its staff members.

In a statement, the ministry made it clear that it takes staff misconduct seriously and will not hesitate to impose disciplinary actions, including dismissal from service.

The allegations against Kenneth Seah Wei Yuan are grave, and if convicted, he may face severe penalties, including imprisonment for up to 10 years and fines for each count of engaging in obscene activities with a minor.

WORKER KILLED AFTER BEING HIT BY HEAVY VEHICLE REVERSING @ JURONG WORKSITE

0

Tragedy struck on Monday, July 9th, as a 33-year-old worker from India lost his life in a devastating accident involving a heavy vehicle at a worksite in Jurong West, according to a report by The Straits Times.

On July 9th, at approximately 3:40 PM, the accident occurred along 1 Buroh Close. The victim, a 33-year-old worker employed by BSN Tech Engineering, was preparing his tipper truck for unloading when a wheel loader reversed into him.

Tragically, the impact proved fatal, and the worker was pronounced dead at the scene.

Star Ready-Mix, a supplier of ready-mix concrete in Singapore, occupied the work site where the accident took place.

Investigation by the Ministry of Manpower

The Ministry of Manpower (MOM) has launched a thorough investigation into the accident to determine the causes and possible lapses in safety measures.

As a result of the incident, MOM has instructed the occupier of the worksite to halt all vehicular operations until the investigation is complete.

Melvin Yong, the MP for the Radis Mas SMC and also the Assistant Secretary-General and director at the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC), addressed the recent spate of workplace accidents in a Facebook post.

Melvin Yong’s Facebook post

[Disturbing series of workplace accidents]

In the past 1.5 months, we have witnessed a disturbing trend in workplace safety that demands our immediate attention and action.

With the unfortunate occurrence of the 15th fatality this year alone and the 4th fatality after the announcement of exit from Heighten Safety Period (HSP) on 31 May 2023, we need to step up our efforts and prioritise the safety and well-being of every single person working within every organisation.

Each loss of life is a devastating event that leaves an indelible mark on the affected worker’s family and others who are involved. We must not let these tragedies be repeated again and again, for every life lost represents a profound failure on everyone who did not fulfil their duty of care to our workers.

In light of recent events, NTUC and its affiliated unions urge every company and organisation to take immediate and decisive action to rectify this unacceptable situation and do right for all persons who are working. The companies and organisations should carry out the following:

  1. Safety Timeout: A planned event whereby companies take time off from their daily work routine to take stock of and review the existing workplace safety and health (WSH) systems and work processes or particular activity; and thereafter implement necessary measures to keep safety practices in check and uphold good WSH standards.
  2. Training and Education: Invest in comprehensive safety training programs for all employees, regardless of their role or tenure. This training will not be a one-time event but an ongoing process to reinforce the importance of safety, enhance hazard identification skills, and foster a culture of proactive safety awareness.
  3. Employee Engagement and Empowerment: We believe that safety is a collective responsibility, and everyone in any organisation must actively participate in maintaining a safe workplace. Reporting unsafe practices saves lives. Companies must therefore provide open communication channels and empower employees to report hazards, near-misses, and potential risks without fear of reprisal. We strongly encourage every organisations to establish a dedicated safety committee and clear reporting channels to ensure continuous feedback and improvement.

NTUC and its affiliated unions will continue to work with companies’ management and workers to create a workplace where safety is paramount, and every individual feels valued, protected, and secure.

WOMAN KILLED WHILE WALKING IN THE STREET, HIT ON HEAD BY FALLING BRICK

0

A 28-year-old woman in China met a tragic end after being hit on the head by a brick. The incident occurred in a food alley at the Wanda Plaza Shopping Mall Night Market.

Local authorities are now conducting an investigation into the matter, as it appears that the culprit behind this unfortunate incident is a repeat offender who had already thrown another brick and a bottle out of the window earlier that day.

Bricks thrown from 33rd floor

The news of this heart-wrenching incident first came to light through a post shared by the victim’s sister on the popular Chinese social media platform Weibo.

According to the post, the woman, referred to as Ms. Lou, lost her life on the 22nd of June at approximately 11 pm. She had been in Changchun, visiting her high school friends, and was residing in a condominium near the Wanda Plaza Night Market.

On that fateful night, Ms. Lou had left her accommodation to grab a bite when tragedy struck. As she walked past a building, three bricks fell from the 33rd level.

The first brick landed on the floor behind her on the right side, while the second one fell behind her to the left. Unfortunately, she couldn’t escape the path of the third brick, which hit her forehead, causing her to collapse with profuse bleeding.

Despite being rushed to the hospital, she succumbed to her injuries.

Seeking justice

The sister of the deceased expressed her grief and called for accountability in her statement. She described her sister as innocent and kind, someone who believed in the safety of today’s society.

The sudden loss of her life during what was supposed to be a vacation has left their family in endless pain and sadness. Ms. Lou’s sister also shared her anguish at the fact that her sister didn’t even get the chance to bid farewell to their family.

Killer was a repeat offender

Eyewitnesses to the incident revealed that if Ms. Lou had been standing just half a step away, she might have avoided the fatal outcome. They further explained that the tragedy unfolded when Ms. Lou paused to look up and see who was behind the first two falling bricks.

The seller at a nearby stall also disclosed that warning signs regarding the possibility of high-rise litter were present in the area. However, these signs were not prominently displayed and were easily overlooked.

Interestingly, there were two other instances of high-rise littering reported in the vicinity a few hours before Ms. Lou’s demise. Thankfully, no one was harmed in those incidents.

Concerned citizens had alerted the police after witnessing the culprit throwing a brick and a beverage bottle from above. The authorities visited the scene but were unable to identify the perpetrator.

Mental Illness and Investigation

The alleged suspect is believed to suffer from a mental illness, as claimed by his family. Police are currently conducting a psychiatric evaluation to ascertain the veracity of these claims.

The grieving sister of Ms. Lou revealed that her entire family has been devastated by the accident. She also discovered that the stairwell between the 30th and 33rd floors of the building was littered with bricks, ceramic tiles, and other items, indicating a potential pattern of dangerous behavior.

However, when she approached the property manager regarding her sister’s tragic incident, she was informed that the materials found in the stairwell were intended for renovation purposes, absolving them of any responsibility for her sister’s untimely death.

ISWARAN’S CPIB PROBE – DPM WONG SAYS “WE WILL NOT SWEEP ANYTHING UNDER THE CARPET”

0

Singapore Minister of Tranport S. Iswaran was previously reported as assisting the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB), who have reportedly uncovered a case that has prompted the need for a thorough inquiry involving Minister Iswaran and several others.

He was subsequently told to take a leave of absence by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong until the investigations are complete, with his duties being taken over by Senior Minister of State Chee Hong Tat, who will assume the role of Acting Minister for Transport.

Following the revelation of the breaking news, Deputy Prime Minister Lawrence Wong addressed the media and said that Iswaran’s duties will also be covered by the other West Coast GRC MPs during the period.

Wong also asked for patience and understanding from the public to let CPIB perform their investigations and provide their findings into the matter in due time.

He also added in a Facebook statement that both himself and PM Lee are “fully committed” to preserving the trust of the people in the PAP government, and that they maintain a “tough, zero tolerance stance against corruption”.

He further added that they will be “upfront and transparent; we will not sweep anything under the carpet, even if they are potentially embarrassing or damaging to the PAP”.

Lawrence Wong’s Facebook statement

I know many are concerned and have questions about the CPIB investigation case.

As investigations are ongoing, we have to let them take their course and we urge everyone to refrain from speculation.

But I want to emphasise that this is concrete proof of how we do things in Singapore and how our system works.

We have always upheld a clean and incorrupt system of government. Our track record over the decades is clear to all.

This is the foundation of the people’s trust in the PAP government, and PM Lee and I are fully committed to preserving this trust.

We maintain a tough, zero tolerance stance against corruption. We will continue to uphold stringent standards of honesty and probity that Singaporeans expect of their political leaders.

We will be upfront and transparent; we will not sweep anything under the carpet, even if they are potentially embarrassing or damaging to the PAP. This is how the PAP government has worked, and will continue to work — with transparency and integrity.

I seek everyone’s patience and understanding, to let CPIB do its work, and provide its findings in due course.

EVIL BOSS DEDUCT PAY OF EMPLOYEE OVER EQUIPMENT BREAKDOWN

0

I was contracted as a full time employee at this small company, K, under a 6 months probation. During the probation, the metal shutters of K broke down and jam when I closed it at the end of the day. However prior the day, the shutter was showing sign of wear and tear which was made known to my boss, S, multiple times but he did not get it fixed.

Also, considering that the first person to leave for the day is supposed to shut the shutter but failed to do so and she just left the office thus I closed the shutter that day instead.

When the shutter jammed and broke down, I informed S about it. S gotten it fixed, but he blamed it on me for spoiling the shutter instead with excuses such as my negligence in failing to ensure that the shutter shuts properly and as I was the person who last touches it. (If the girl who left first that day closes it, why would I need to last touch the shutter and carry the blame since it’s a shared responsibility for all staff to ensure that doors and shuttler are closed if they leave first)

S told me to compensate for the fixing fee which is over 4K plus, I did not agree as it was not stated in my contract that I will need to compensate for any damage equipment of the company and considering I am still under probation. However he printed out a letter and pressured me to sign on that day to agree to 100 being deducted from my monthly salary for 10 months, after signing the agreement he did not gave me a copy of it for my keepsake. With the fear of losing my job and hoping to pass the probation, I signed the agreement.

However in my 4th month I was dismissed over a mere complain from customer saying that I rejected customer request after working hours as I had already closed the door and was a few steps away from office (when there are other staff who had yet to leave the office whom could had assisted the customer). In the end I failed on my probation and my last pay was deducted of 800.

Would it be a losing battle if I tries to file a claim from MOM??

PRC MAN DROVE DANGEROUSLY @ AMK TO SCARE WIFE, CRASHED & ALMOST HIT POLICE OFFICE

0

A 46-year-old Chinese national, Chang Qing, had a heated argument with his wife and drove recklessly in an attempt to frighten her, but he ended up crashing his car and almost hitting a police officer with his vehicle.

Chang was sentenced on 11 July to four weeks’ imprisonment and disqualified from driving for two years, according to The Straits Times.

The Argument and Reckless Driving

On January 9, 2022, Chang and his wife, Ms. Lin Jin, had an argument at a coffee shop in Block 422 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3.

Tensions between the two then escalated following a few drinks, leading to their separation by other coffee shop customers who were around at the time.

Concerned by the situation, a witness called the police, and Sergeant Zulaikha Mohd Nasir and her colleague from Ang Mo Kio South Neighbourhood Police Centre were dispatched.

Before the arrival of the police, the couple left the coffeeshop and continued their argument inside their car. Upon exiting the carpark next to Block 422, Chang stopped the car momentarily, before accelerating and crossing both lanes of the road along Ang Mo Kio Street 42, before ultimately crashing after hitting the kerb on the other side of the road.

Chang later told the police that he wanted to scare his wife by driving dangerously because he was frustrated with her.

Near Miss with a Policewoman

Sergeant Zulaikha and her colleague were en route to Block 422 in a police car when they witnessed the collision. Reacting swiftly, they sounded the police car’s horn and Sgt. Zulaikha alighted from the vehicle.

She approached Chang’s car, shouting “stop, stop,” and positioned herself in front of the car to prevent further movement. Despite her attempts to intervene, Chang continued driving, causing Sgt. Zulaikha to jump out of harm’s way.

Following the incident, Chang drove away, but the police caught up with him in Woodlands. He was subsequently arrested after failing a breathalyzer test.

The prosecution highlighted the serious risk Sgt. Zulaikha faced and requested a jail term of eight to twelve weeks, along with a two-year disqualification from driving.

During the court proceedings, Chang pleaded guilty to the charge of driving in a rash manner likely to cause hurt. In his defense, his lawyer, Thomas Tham, explained that Chang was under considerable stress due to his wife’s constant scolding, which had distorted his judgment.

Tham emphasized that Chang’s actions were not a deliberate disregard for law enforcement. Chang, being a first-time offender, is currently out on $2,000 bail, and is reportedly planning to appeal against his sentence.

GIRL DOESN’T WANT TO HAVE CHILDREN, DOESN’T KNOW HOW TO TELL BF

0

A netizen shared how she has been dating her boyfriend who really likes children but she doesn’t want to have children.

Here is the story:

“When did you decide whether to have children or not?

I have been attached for close to two years now. Our relationship was built on the understanding that we’d get married eventually and start a family; my partner likes children very much. But for the past year, I have been considering if I actually don’t want to be a parent after all.

While I think it is meaningful to raise children and build a loving family, the sacrifices to be made are incredibly offputting. Having children requires so much commitment and responsibility, including financial cost, loss of personal time and freedom, the pressure to meet their emotional/developmental needs etc. As a female, there would also be physical changes and health risks I would have to deal with.

People have told me that my views may change over time, especially when I get older. I also suspect that my reluctance to have children is because I haven’t been able to do a lot of the things I want to do as a working adult yet, mainly travelling more and living independently. But the longer I drag this indecision out, the longer I’d be holding back my partner who could have used this time to find someone more compatible and start a family earlier.

I haven’t raised this with my partner seriously yet, because I want to be sure of my own position before engaging in a meaningful discussion with him. He is already clear on his stance and I don’t expect to change his mind for my sake.

Any thoughts please? Thanks in advance!”
