WIFE TRACKS HER HUSBAND’S TIMELINE AND SAYS HIS CONSTANTLY LYING TO HER

0

Husband is constantly lying to me

Not sure if anyone encounters the same as me. I have a husband who is constantly lying to me about everything. From going out every friday for dinner with all his bosses but actually is with his colleagues (same level as him) & staffs. His staffs are all females and i told him before that i am okay with him having lunch or having after work chill out just do not lie to me.

To me i feel, if there is nothing to hide, he can just say their names and this i have also talk to him about it.

After work everyday, he won’t come home immediately. He will send his staff /staffs home and i understand if its along the way, i am okay too but the thing is sometimes its really not along the way.

I am able to see from his timeline on where he goes and sometimes when i called to check if he is on the way home and if he is directly from work, he would say yes but obviously he left office early and went coffee shop to drink and send his staffs home.

I am not a controlling wife as i do not say no to everything he does or where is goes. He has 100% freedom. All i requested from him was to inform me, i don’t think this is too much to ask.

The thing is, why need to lie?

Here are what netizens think:

  • Immediate tell tale sign. Why does he need to send his staff home? Is he the chauffeur? Especially in this time of rising petrol costs and more so if it’s out of the way.
  • He’s seeing someone else for sure!
  • Teach u a trick. Man balls supplies are limited. So if after the friday session, u see the volume (ml) goes down, likely its already expense off earlier.

NURSE SAYS THAT IT IS UNPROFESSIONAL FOR COMPANY TO BALLOT LEAVES

0

Hi. I just wanted to ask for your opinions regarding the following:

1) do you think it is acceptable for employees to ballot leaves ONE year in advance? Many of us (the unfortunate lose in all ballots ones) are not able to claim our AL slots even when it’s done in this manner.

When slots open up along the way, our superiors will then ask us if we want those slots. (Eg: superiors ask if we would like to take leave on 10th October only on 1st October). How do we then plan for anything? Like holiday trips. Last minute booking = price hike/many accommodations unavailable/very rush/how to jio friends

2) our roster for next Monday is not even out yet and today is Thursday. Roster is usually planned for the whole month. Our social lives for the whole month depend very much on the roster that is always out very late. I can only make tentative plans/miss out on gatherings/attempt to change shifts to try to make it to gatherings or whatever. Is this really ok?

I understand that there’s manpower crunch and they have to plan in advance to ensure adequate manpower or that they have difficulties planning the rosters. But it is really IRRITATING!!!

Do you guys have any suggestions on how to improve this? Do other hospitals work differently?

JOE BIDEN – U.S TROOPS WILL DEFEND TAIWAN IF CHINA DECIDES TO INVADE THEM

0

US president Joe Biden spoke during an interview on 60 Minutes, and said that the US will provide military support for Taiwan if China invades them.

However, he did say that the White House acknowledges the unchanged policy on Taiwan, and that thus far, the US has mainly supported Taiwan by selling military weapons to them.

He said that the US is still abiding by the One China policy, and that “we are not moving. We are not encouraging (Taiwan) to be independent, that’s (their) decision”.

However, he added that if there was an “unprecedented” attack on Taiwan by China, the US will step in and send troops to defend the former.

The US is able to provide weapons to Taiwan to defend itself under the Taiwan Relations Act, but the act doesn’t extend to sending US troops there.

A Chinese spokesperson from the China Embassy in the US, Liu Pengyu, tweeted on 3 September that US selling arms to Taiwan is “undermining China’s sovereignty and security interests”.

He said that China will take legitimate and necessary counter measures in light of the development of the situation, in response to the US planning to sell more weapons to Taiwan.

ELDERLY MAN ALMOST SENT $150K TO “DUTCH GF”, UOB STAFF STEPS IN TO STOP SCAM

0

An elderly man in his 70s from Singapore almost fell for a scam and sent $150,000 to his “Dutch girlfriend”, before he was stopped from doing so by vigilant bank staff from UOB.

The elderly man had went ot the main UOB branch at Raffles Place earlier this year to send money to the scammer, according to The Straits Times.

He had attempted to send a cheque of more than $150,000 to an overseas offshore account that was under someone else’s name, but the account number and the name of the account holder didn’t match.

46-year-old UOB service associate Jenny Hong, then got suspicious and asked why the man was sending such a large amount of money.

The elderly man then got flustered and couldn’t speak clearly, only telling her that it was urgent, and Hong then asked her assistant branch manager, 55-year-old Alison Cheng to come over to help.

The elderly man eventually revealed that he was sending the money to his girlfriend in the Netherlands, whom he met on Facebook about 2 months prior and made him believe that she needed the money for a business deal.

The bank staff then realised that the elderly man was being scammed and advised him against making the transaction, but he was unmoved.

He told them that he wasn’t being scammed, and that it was love, despite acknowledging the numerous news reports about similar scams.

Determined, the bank staff eventually made him realised and accept that he was a victim of a scam after persuading him for 30 minutes.

He finally realised that he could’ve fallen victim to a love scam had they not intervened, and would’ve kissed his $150k goodbye.

The elderly man then rescinded his request to make the money transfer, and made a police report against the scammer.

WOMAN ORDERED & PAID FOR 2 IPHONES @ ORCHARD, WAS TOLD SOMEONE ELSE PICKED IT UP

0

A Singapore Uncensored reader shared a photo of a woman sitting outside an Apple store with a couple of signs in front of her, explaining her predicament.

The netizen who took the photo shared that the incident happened at Orchard.

She said that she had apparently ordered and paid for two iPhone Pro Max, but when she went down to the Apple store to collect her phones, she couldn’t do so.

She was told that her iPhones, which she had paid for, had apparently been picked up by someone else.

She added that Apple allegedly didn’t provide or give them any answer of explanation as to who or how her orders could’ve been picked up by someone else.

She described the situation as being “abandoned” by Apple.

She was seen sitting down outside the Apple store with the signs as curious passers-by gawked, with a stroller also parked beside her sign with a baby in it.

What her sign says

“I paid for 2 iPhone Pro Max but Apple said someone already picked it up.

Apple did not give us any answer or explanation, they abandoned us.”

DRIVER DAMAGES MOTORCYCLE, THEN OFFER MOTORCYCLIST $10 AS COMPENSATION

A motorcyclist returned to his motorcycle only to find that his bike had been damaged by a driver, as the visibly stressed motorcyclist assessed his damaged motorcycle.

The driver who had hit his bike, had apparently left behind a note with his contact number to the rider, as his friend (who was filming) assuaged him and told him to relax and call the driver first.

The motorcyclist then called the driver and asked him about the incident and what happened to his motorcycle, and he then told the driver “eh uncle, very serious leh, it isn’t a small damage.”

The driver then presumably told him that it was a small matter, to which the motorcyclist then replied “this isn’t a small matter leh uncle.”

He then asked the driver “then now you want me to do insurance claim or what?” to which the driver then asked for private settlement, to which the rider then said “okay, I’m very calm now (presumably in response to the driver asking him to calm down).”

The rider then told the driver that there were many damages on his motorcycle, and the driver then presumably told him over the phone that he will compensate him $10 for the damages.

The rider then retorted, “$10?! Uncle, you give me $10, what can I do with it? Give me $10 drink coffee? How about I give you $10 instead and you go and drink coffee?”

“$10 is ridiculous, seriously. Eh my motor I just spray painted recently only leh. $10 buey gam tiah lah uncle, really. help me a bit lah, this isn’t my fault leh. I’m giving you a way out leh, you know or not?”

The rider then told the driver that he doesn’t have any choice now but to call the police. He then asked the driver “if not, where are you? How about you come back here, and we settle here.”

The driver then presumably offered him the $10 compensation again, to which the rider told him that it was “ridiculous” and that the driver was being “too much” and pushing it. The rider added “the $10 I give you to go and drink coffee lah.”

“The $10, you now go and take Grab, the $10 I use it to help you pay lah.”

The driver then presumably asked him over the phone about the rider’s tone and him being angry, to which the rider told him “I’m not angry. Of course now that I see my damaged motorcycle, of course my tone will be a little harsh. But you tell me you want to pay me $10 for damaging my bike, it’;s ridiculous what.”

The driver then told him that he will come down to the accident site to settle the issue, and the phone call was then cut, to which the rider then lamented the situation “this is too much leh…” as he readjusted his motorcycle.

ANOTHER S’PORE HIKER GETS LOST IN M’SIA FOREST, RESCUED AFTER 1 DAY WITH MINOR INJURIES

0

Yet another Singaporean hiker got lost in the Malaysian forest and had to be rescued by the authorities after going missing for more than a day.

The 33-year-old man went missing after he got separated from his companion during a hike in the Hutan Panti Forest Reserve in Johor.

He was later found with minor injuries.

The Kota Tinggi District Police said in a Facebook statement on 17 September that the male Singaporean, Jason Ren Jie had gone missing.

They were alerted to the incident by a Malaysian man at about 3.26pm, after the latter (who was with Jason) had lost contact with him.

A search team from the Batu Ampat Police Station was deployed for the search and rescue efforts in the forest reserve.

They were assisted by personnel from the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department, as well as the Johor Forestry Department.

Search operations called off

However, they failed to find the missing man by 11.30pm and had to pause their search efforts until the next day because it was too dark.

The Kota Tinggi police then updated their Facebook statement on 18 September, saying that they had resumed search operations at 10am.

They then received a call from a public member at about 2.22pm, saying that a man who was suspected to be missing was spotted on the highway between Kota Tinggi and Mersing.

A response team was then sent out and Jason was then found, safe and sound, save for a few minor injuries.

He was found at about 3.15pm, according to Kota Tinggi police chief Hussin Zamora; Jason had gone hiking with his Malaysian friend at about 11.30am the previous day and they got separated at about 1pm at a climbing section.

He was sent to the hospital for treatment.

Will be punished for entering forest without permit

However, after Jason was found and rescued, it appears his nightmare is far from over – he had apparently entered the forest reserve without a permit and the Johor Forestry Department is planning to take action against him.

His Malaysian companion, 35-year-old Teng Jih Bao, could also be facing action from the authorities as well, and should they be found guilty, they face a fine of up to RM10,000 under Section 47 of the National Forestry Act.

M’SIAN MAN SAYS S’PORE CAI PNG CHEAPER THAN JB FOOD, ONLY SGD$2.70 (RM11)

0

A Malaysian man claimed that the Cai Png (economy rice) in Singapore is cheaper that what is being sold in Johor Bahru, and that he eats in Signapore before returning to JB.

The man’s claims has sparked conversations and discussions between citizens of the two countries, what with the current SGD$1 to RM3 currency conversion rate at the moment.

The man posted a photo of his Cai Png onto a Facebook group, and said that his meal which consists of a plate of rice with tofu and meat only set him back SGD$2.70 (or RM11).

He asked if there were other people like him who have their meals here in Singapore first before returning to their home in JB after work.

Some netizen replied and said that for the same food that the man ordered in Singapore, it would cost upwards of SGD$3.55 (or RM12) in Malaysia.

Editor’s note: This writer personally hasn’t found any economy rice stalls that sells Cai Png for $2.70, so if any netizens are willing to share the location of the stall, you will be my hero forever.
