Screenshots of an incident were recently uploaded on the popular forum HWZ which shows how a waiter attacked a female customer before trying to make her sleep with her. The incident was also posted on the review page of the bar in Google and the victim gave his side of the story.

Here is the full story.

“Dear whoever this may concern,

The reason for writing this is to lodge a complaint against one of your staff, an indian man named Zach, who got physically and verbally abusive with my group of friends unprovoked.

My friends and I were patronising your prinsep street outlet yesterday when at about 10.15pm, Zach came up to our table and informed us to leave as the bar was closing. While my friends were preparing to leave, Zach started picking a fight with one of my friends for no apparent reason. He accused my friend of being rude to him when nothing was even said. He was being extremely rude and demanded for us to leave in 3 seconds even though there were still other people in the bar, and we were already preparing to leave.

He was also being very verbally abusive, threatening to slap my friend etc. When I was trying to get my friend to leave, he grabbed the back of my neck and shoved us to the exit. Keep in mind, I was trying to diffuse the situation by getting everyone to leave and did not say a word to Zach at all. He hurled vulgarities at me as well.

When we left, we went downstairs and Zach followed us. He continued being verbally abusive and kept challenging my friend to fight him. We were apologising to him as we just wanted to leave but he did not want to let the matter rest. He started saying extremely ridiculous and inappropriate things like he will only leave us alone if we buy a bottle from the bar or if one of my girl-friends slept with him. He then got physical and punched my friend’s face (he has a mark on his face to prove this) and grabbed and threw my girl-friend onto the ground.

This was a very traumatic experience for all of us as we have never ever gotten such treatment from a service staff in a bar before. He was clearly drunk and not in the right state of mind. I had to get one of your colleagues to come and diffuse the situation. Before that, a few of them were already there and left halfway when he did not want to listen to them. So this is how the rest of your staff treat your customers when they see that their colleague is harassing them? I am very appalled by the lack of professionalism displayed by your staff at prinsep. What’s more shocking is that he got physical with us, which is extremely unacceptable.

We have contacted the police regarding this and would like to make this incident known to your management, for your consideration of what to do with this particular staff. Needless to say we will not be patronising any of your outlets anymore.

Thank you for your time.”

The bar has since apologized and given a statement to say that the waiter has since been suspended.

A video was recently uploaded on the Facebook page Complaint.sg which shows a bikini girl attempting to open her beer bottle.

She was trying to use a metal gate as a fulcrum to open the bottle cap. But she failed miserably as her Sommersby beer bottle broke.

An Ah Long (loanshark) allegedly sent $1,000 worth of food delivery orders to a HDB unit at Block 468C Fernvale Link.

The police were made aware of the case of intentional harassment yesterday (31 May) at around 1.30pm, after several delivery riders were sent to the unit with orders marked “cash-on-delivery”.

The orders were made by a man under the alias of Saju Man on Foodpanda.

More than 10 delivery riders were directed to the same unit; one of the riders, a 23-year-old, said that such a debt collecting method is despicable.

The police are currently investigating.

A video was recently uploaded on the Instagram page sgfollowsall which shows a netizen commenting on the “most useful” bridge in Singapore.

The overhead bridge was located at Sengkang and one can wonder the actual reason why an overhead bridge was built there in the first place.

A Malaysian drug syndicate that uses modified fire extinguishers to smuggle drugs into Singapore was busted by the Malaysia’s Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department (NCID).

Singapore’s Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) said in a statement yesterday (1 June) that the operation was a result of intelligence sharing between us, Malaysia’s NCID and the Johor police.

CNB said:

“Motivated by profit, drug traffickers and syndicates will continue to take huge gambles to smuggle illicit drugs into Singapore, and will stop at nothing to evade detection from the authorities,” said CNB. 

“The recent arrests in both Malaysia and Singapore are a testament to the close cooperation between the drug enforcement agencies in both countries.”

About $850,000 worth of drugs were seized and 7 people arrested on 18 May.

A woman was spotted placing her groceries on bus seats.

She was seen putting her groceries and taking up two seats on the bus.

A little graciousness goes a long way, others might need the seat more.

A 54-year-old man pleaded guilty last Thursday to one count each of harassing his 45-year-old ex girlfriend and threatening to distribute her intimate photos.

He was reportedly unhappy with her and threatened to spread her n*des, trespassed into her home and using a knife to threaten her.

The parties cannot be named due to a gag order protecting the victim’s identity.

The man had taken the photos while the two were will in a romantic and sexual relationship, where he convinced her to pose naked in compromising positions for him to take pictures, which the victim consented to.

She didn’t consent to the distribution of the pictures though.

The man then threatened to distribute the photos in a text to the woman on 14 September last year.

He then armed himself with a knife 2 days later and trespassed into her home, questioning her about the alleged loans he made to her and jewellery that he allegedly passed to her about 5 years ago.

The victim knew nothing about the loans or jewellery and the two then got into an argument, with the man threatening to slash her

Another woman then stepped in and told him to stop, which he complied, and the police were called in.

The man is due to be sentenced on 5 July 2021.
