YP USED STRAW TO DRINK TOILET BOWL WATER TO IMPRESS XMMS

A video emerged online showing a YP and a group of girls inside a toilet, with the former using a straw to drink water from a toilet bowl.

The YP appears to be drunk, judging by the redness on his body (or he could be blushing because got girls inside the toilet).

He was seen sucking the toilet bowl water through the straw and drinking it, much to the excitement of the XMMs watching, who went “WOOOOO!”

It is unclear whether he managed to impress the XMMs or not, but he is definitely gonna be impressing the toilet cleaner.

Toilet bowl

On average, a toilet bowl contains about 3.2 million bacteria per square inch, excluding the amount of bacteria in other parts of the toilet bowl like the toilet flush handle and seat.

Add that to the fact that the YP was drinking toilet bowl water from what appears to be a public toilet, God knows how much bacteria and germs he has consumed.

NEIGHBOUR FROM HELL RETURNS, STILL SLAMMING GATE TO RESIDENT’S FLAT

It was previously reported that an elderly man was seen in CCTV footage slamming his home’s front gate against his neighbour’s wall.

Karma then hit him instantly when a piece of his gate, a metal rod, broke and dislodged from the gate and fell onto him as he was sitting down.

An updated video then emerged, showing the same old man back to his antics again, unlocking his front door and gate, before slamming the gate onto his neighbour’s wall.

This time, a prominent gap in his gate could be seen, from the previous incident where he broke his gate from slamming it too hard.

The latest incident purportedly happened on 9 June at about 6.25am in the morning, with the elderly man creating a ruckus with his gate early in the morning.

MICE FALL FROM CEILING AND ONTO DINERS’ TABLES @ MAXWELL FOOD CENTRE

A netizen shared how he had spotted two mice nesting in the ceiling at Maxwell Food Centre, according to Shin Min Daily News.

SMDN spoke to the stall vendors there, who told them that the mice usually come in threes or fours, and are nocturnal.

They added that the mice scurry around the hawker centre at night, going after the uncleared food at the tables.

They have also reportedly gnawed through electrical wires, and they return to their nest in the ceiling beam after 12pm.

Fell onto table

A vendor told the Chinese paper that there have been 2 instances where the mice were spotted in the day when a small mouse fell from the ceiling and onto a diners’ table back in September last year.

The cleaners had to use a box to remove the mouse.

Another mouse also fell from the ceiling and onto a table, before running away – but it was ultimately trampled to death by patrons.

A spokesperson for Maxwell Food Centre told SMDN that the rodents started appearing after construction work started in the vicinity.

The NEA has also been informed about the situation and that inspections are done regularly, with pest control services visiting monthly.

MUM BIASED AGAINST ELDEST DAUGHTER, TALKS BEHIND HER BACK

0

Since young, my mum is SUPER DUPER bias towards my younger sis (my only sibling). Every time my mum will ALWAYS give in to my sis and will listen to her. What my sis wanted, my mum always says ok.

For my case, I was treated differently after my sis was born. I’ve asked my mum for simple stuff like “Can I stay over at my bf place over the week?”and her reply is “NO!”.

But my sis asked her the same question and she replied “Sure, my dear”.

There’s once, when I was showering, I overheard their conversation. They are talking behind my back. My mum: “Why is your sister behaving like that?”.

My mum’s mindset is too traditional. Recently, I’m getting married. My plan was to just sign the ROM paper and that’s it. Just keep it simple.

She insisted that she wanted to have those “traditional Chinese wedding” ritual. This time I gave in to her and I told her just a simple one will do.

She just kept quiet. The next day, she wanted to do all the “required” stuff (eg. Set date according to calendar, tea ceremony) for my wedding that I find that there serve no purpose. I told her there’s no need for all these.

Over the years, I was wondering if she is my blood related mum. I have my own thoughts and cannot keep following her instructions. This is not even fair to me.

How to persuade my mum to listen to me just once? Should I move out from her house? Please give some advice. TYIA

BEACH RD SLASHING VICTIM DISCHARGED FROM HOSPITAL, RECOVERING

The Beach Road slashing victim, Han Hongli, who was attacked by her estranged husband Cheng Guoyuan in the now-infamous chopper attack that took place back in April, has been discharged from the hospital.

She went through 4 surgeries for injuries suffered to her head, eyes and hands during the vicious slashing attack on 14 April.

The 42-year-old woman is now recovering in the community with volunteers sending her food every day, and will be needing two more eye surgeries to regain her eyesight.

A fundraising campaign was also launched by crowd-funding website Ray of Hope on 10 May to help the victim with her medical and living expenses during her recovery.

The campaign exceeded the target of $105,343.86, raising $105,395.87 at the time of writing, with about $1,800 already being disbursed to Han earlier this month.

The target amount will also be adjusted accordingly should her medical fees continue to increase, and Han will be receiving the money monthly for 12 months for her loss of income.

Ray of Hope is also working with Han’s employer, Edmund Tan of Chong Qing (Origin) Steamboat, to settle her final medical bills, and are waiting for the insurance paperwork to be finalised.

22 Y.O GIRL PREGNANT WITH 34 Y.O MARRIED BOSS’ BABY, WANTS TO KEEP THE BABY

0

22f pregnant with my 34m boss baby and its very messy. Before you judge, i am quite shy I’ve only ever been in 1 relationship and slept with 2 people.

When i started this job he was very nice to me he was quite flirty and i flirted back. I guess i was so depraved for attention i let this develop.

The thing is he is a really nice guy very gentlemanly and gentle. He does have a girlfriend but no kids.

When i found i was scared (still am) i told him he doesn’t have to have anything to do with me or the baby but he wants to be part of his child life and said that he has feelings for me.

None of us know how this is going to work at all. It’s all very complicated and messy and i feel we’re both going to pay for this

FYI: i am not having an abortion no matter the outcome

Netizens’ comments

  • This makes me sad. So many kids brought into this world under wonky situations like this.
  • Girl you are so young and malleable. He’s 34 dating someone 12 years younger. If you don’t like the situation you are not a tree, you can move and change it. I bet you $1 million dollars he did it on purpose.

TELEGRAM LAUNCHING PAID SUBSCRIPTIONS IN JUNE 2022

The founder of Telegram, Pavel Durov, said in a statement that the messaging app will be launching a paid subscription plan in June 2022.

Under the new subscription plan, the messaging app’s users will get higher chat limits, media uploads, along with addition features.

Durov also emphasized that despite the paid subscription plan, the existing features of the app will continue to remain free to use, with more free features to be added as well.

Here is Telegram’s statement

Durov’s Channel

Since the day Telegram was launched almost 9 years ago, we’ve been giving our users more features and resources than any other messaging app. A free app as powerful as Telegram was revolutionary in 2013 and is still unprecedented in 2022. To this day, our limits on chats, media and file uploads are unrivaled.

And yet, many have been asking us to raise the current limits even further, so we looked into ways to let you go beyond what is already crazy. The problem here is that if we were to remove all limits for everyone, our server and traffic costs would have become unmanageable, so the party would be unfortunately over for everyone.

After giving it some thought, we realized that the only way to let our most demanding fans get more while keeping our existing features free is to make those raised limits a paid option. That’s why this month we will introduce Telegram Premium, a subscription plan that allows anyone to acquire additional features, speed and resources. It will also allow users to support Telegram and join the club that receives new features first.

Not to worry though: all existing features remain free, and there are plenty of new free features coming. Moreover, even users who don’t subscribe to Telegram Premium will be able to enjoy some of its benefits: for example, they will be able to view extra-large documents, media and stickers sent by Premium users, or tap to add Premium reactions already pinned to a message to react in the same way.

While our experiments with privacy-focused ads in public one-to-many channels have been more successful than we expected, I believe that Telegram should be funded primarily by its users, not advertisers. This way our users will always remain our main priority.
