A man or rather a child posted a story that irks people to the core about how he thinks of love, he expects whatever he gives in to the girl he will receive back in the same amount. However, love not tangible.

Here is the story:

So my girlfriend and I are fighting over this simple thing. I used to be very bocap/lazy in terms of the dressing style and grooming in general which meant I got fewer dates. However, I saw a sharp increase in the number of dates I went after I put in the effort to manage my appearance.I got into a relationship with this girl.

I chose her because she is a kind and caring person. However, I did not like her dressing style compared to other girls I dated before. After a while, I started suggesting that she try wearing a but more shorter or revealing outfits to look a bit more sexy. I suggested that she wear regularly if possible and if not, at least a few days a week. She got angry and started saying it is her choice to wear whatever she wants. I do not disagree. I put in a lot of effort to look good so I felt that she could do something as well.

I also did sacrifice and do other things for her so I suggested that she could sacrifice a bit for me as well. I don’t usually ask her for things by the way. She just downright refused to do it, not even to wear sexy outfits once a week. I talked to her and found out that she is not comfotable showing so much skin. I told her that maybe we can take it in small steps, maybe wear slightly shorter and slowly increase the shortness over time.

Still she refused. Finally, I suggested that she wear sexy outfits when she is at my place or her place. She got furious at this point because I kept on trying so she refused to talk to me for a while.At this point, I got so pissed off. Guess what I did. I did not bring up about this outfit issue to her. I just went back to my bocap style of dressing, just a sligtly oversized t-shirt, shorts and a pair of slippers. I would wear this outfit no matter where we went, including those classy restaurants. She felt embarrassed at one of the place and asked me why I am wearing such as outfit.

I refused to answer her question and just talk about something else. I do not want to fight around this. By the way, the bocap style is the most comfotable form of dressing.Now, I know all the girls want to rage at me but wait, I did not do anything wrong here. In fact, it is fair. Throughout this process, I did not force her. I only made suggestions to her. Despite making sacrifices for her, she did not try to make any forms of adjustments for me. It felt unfair to me. By the way, I do most of the work in the relationship, like planning dinners or outings, buying gifts, accompanying her, waiting for her after school, etc.

Now, it is fair because like her, I don’t need to put in effort in my dressing to try to impress my romantic partner. It should go both ways. I should be able to wear whatever I want, similarly to the fact that she can wear whatever she wants.Some of you may say that I do not deserve her but I feel that it goes both ways. Despite her not making adjustments for me, I still found a way to make it fair for us. If she still decides to break up with me for this, then I can’t do anything. I have tried my best in this relationship.

According to the high court, a 41-year-old housewife blatantly took advantage of her position as an employer of a Myanmar maid and tortured and starve her maid to death. Earlier today(June 22), She was sentenced to 30 years in jail.

24-year-old Piang Ngaih Don was only 39kg when she was employed by her employer 41-year-old Gaiyathiri Murugayan. When she died, she was only 24kg.

Assault

For almost 10 months, the maid was assualted by her and barely given any food or rest time for her. She was tied to the window grille at night for the last 12 days of her life.

She died on 26 July 2016, weighing at only 24kg. The assaults was captured by a CCTV camera in the unit.

Footage of the CCTV shows Gaiyathiri punching, kicking stomping on her and even pouring water over the maid.

At more serious times, she would even be choked and burned with a heated iron. She was treated as if she was “lesser than an animal”.

Starved

Her daily diet comprises of a soaked piece of bread and cold food from the fridge. She was also forced to use the bathroom with the doors opened.

A photo emerged online showing a paper cup and paper box from the McDonald’s x BTS meal being washed and kept for reuse.

They were then seen stowed on a dish rack.

Perhaps the BTS fan really likes the packaging, but paper does become soggy after washing.

A netizen, Andrew Wong, shared how he was having dinner at a hawker centre when the cleaner, an old woman in her late 70s came to collect his food tray.

She then later told him that she left some money at a drink stall because she wanted to buy him a drink.

She later revealed that it was because she saw him eating spicy ban mian and was sweating profusely.

“Found love in a hopeless place

We were having dinner. Fried oyster and chilli ban mian. When she came over to remove the serving tray, we told her we needed it to return the cutlery to the cleaning station.

She told me that won’t be necessary because she will clean the table after we are done. It will be even more troublesome for her to push the trolley to the tray return station and send the used cutlery to the cleaning station. She said she works fast, so these won’t be on the table for long.

She looks rather old, late 70s and perhaps 80s, short and frail! We felt quite sorry. We did however notice she works pretty fast for a lady her age!

A few moment later when she passed by our table, she stopped and through the mask she mumbled something like “buying a drink” in Hokkien. I thought she was asking if we could get her a drink. I am all ready for that but when I asked what she would like to drink.

She said: “No, No, I want to buy both of you a drink! I have left some money at the drink stall already. Do you want a cold drink?” We were dumbfounded and didn’t know what to reply.

Politely we told her that is not necessary and tried to explain we don’t drink beverage while eating (quite a lie actually- depending on what drink lah).

We chatted for a while and asked if she had dinner and if we can get her some food. “How about orh luak? This one we are eating is really good” She laughed and explained that what I am having is orh jian and it is different and she said she had eaten. She then left to carry on with her work.

We were all confused but at the same time pretty ashamed of what we were thinking. Something struck my mind. We were having a very spicy bowl of ban mian and I was sweating profusely. I ran to her and asked “Aunty, do you mind if I ask you something. Did you want to buy me a drink because you saw me perspiring, in agony?”

She broke into a hearty giggle and nodded her head. We looked at each other and had a good laugh, then bid farewell.

I promised I will come back to see her again and maybe we can have a drink together. She told me she works there every evening and if I do come by, say hello.

We were greatly humbled this evening but our heart was warmly touched by her big heartedness to a pair of strangers!”

A netizen shared about how she has been living alone in a haunted home and due to her financial issues, she can’t afford to move out.

She described being plagued by poltergeist activity, hearing footsteps all over her home at night.

Knocks were also heard around her house, sometimes the knocks even come from inside the walls.

She wrote that once, her house had a blackout and she was navigating around in her home with a torchlight; she then saw what she believed to be the ghost that has been haunting her – a black silhouette peeking out from behind a door.

One night, she fell asleep in the living room and was woken up in the middle of the night by a really loud bang from the kitchen, which startled her awake.

She then made her way into the kitchen to check and see what happened, and what she saw freaked her out.

All the cabinets in her kitchen were opened.

She bolted out of the house without even thinking twice.
