A netizen shared how he was doing guard duty during his NS with his buddy.
They were prowling the camp grounds in a very dark area with nothing but vegetation surrounding it.
His buddy then started chain smoking, which he didn’t find odd because it was normal for guys to smoke when they’re prowling during guard duty (as long as you don’t get caught).
However, he noticed that his buddy was smoking like a chimney, lighting cigarette after cigarette and looking visibly disturbed.
After their shift was over and they returned to the guard room, he asked his buddy what happened and why was he smoking so much.
Hie buddy told him that he saw a figure behind them and smelled a very strong scent of frangipanis, which is the flower smell that is commonly associated with pontianaks who are in the vicinity.
The smell was following them around.
But the netizen said he didn’t smell any frangipanis.

Earlier today 35-year-old Saw Paing Soe Thu (Myanmar national) was sentenced to 1 year and 1-month in jail after he attacked his colleague Aung Win Htut with a dangerous weapon.
Months before the incident happened Saw Paing Soe Thu and Aung Win Htut had a dispute because Aung was walking around naked on the farm.
The incident happened on 9 April 2021, Aung Win Htut was again walking around naked because he was going for a shower. Saw Piang Soe Thu was not happy and felt uneasy for his co-worker walking around without clothes on.
Saw Piang Soe Thu who just drank some wine went to retrieved a mallet meant to process fish and bash the head of his co-worker on the head which lead to Aung Win Htut falling and bleeding.
Aung Win Htut did not retaliate and he contacted his boss which alerted the Police. Aung Win Htut was later sent to Ng Teng Fond hospital for treatment.

He drove into the section of the expressway that was lined with palm trees, and there were no cars in sight.

He then stopped his car, turned off the engine and closed his eyes; before turning on the engine again and driving off, this time the road finally curved.

He then followed the bend and drove down, and eventually the road u-turned again.
The ECP became something like a closed loop, and he was driving round and round.
He said that he easily spent 2 hours circling the loop and being unable to get out, with not a single car or anything in sight.
He even called the police and his friends, who drove up and down the ECP to look for him but couldn’t find him.
He said that he then saw something moving under the moonlight, a strange dark blob.
He then decided to drive towards the moving thing and suddenly the streetlights turned on and he was drifting from the centre lane to the right lane.
Suddenly he could see other vehicles on the road, and a taxi was honking him from behind.
He gave way to the driver, who wound down his window and asked him to pull over.
The driver asked him if he got “kena” anything off or not, and he told him that he was “stuck” driving round and round.
The taxi driver then said “no wonder, you suddenly appear in front of my car”.
He then advised him to go temple to pray the next day, since it’s about 3am already, if not things will get worse.
A man shared a touching moment when he saw a man selling tissue paper at Bedok. They treated him to a meal and even fed him.

Minister of Health Ong Ye Kung, said that the Progress Singapore Party (PSP) has repeatedly made false statements that the Singapore-India Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (CECA) gives Indians a “free hang” to work in Singapore.
Address PSP’s NMP Leong Mun Wai claims that foreign professionals, managers, executives and technicians (PMETs) and free trade agreements (FTAs) have affected the jobs and livelihoods of Singaporeans, Ong said:

“Need some advice here.
My bf and I have been together for almost 2 years but he still doesn’t trust me. Before you go on to say that he doesn’t trust me because of something I did, no I didn’t cheat or do anything even close to cheating.
Throughout the past 2 years, I have been 100% loyal to him. No odd messages or unnecessary one on one meet ups with the opp gender.
He knows every single one of my friends (I usually keep to a small circle of friends) and I tell him everything. I meet him almost everyday and we video call (instead of voice call) so there is literally no secrets between us.
Before him, I’ve had exes and serious dates and so I’m more sexually experienced than him even though he’s older than me.
Is it reasonable for him to feel that I have the tendency to sleep around just because of that? I don’t. So now every time I go out to drink with my friends (which is prolly like once in 3 months), he gets all upset.
I had drinks with my colleagues the other day and ended up vomiting because of excessive yakult. Yes, my yakult soju’s ratio was prolly 3 yakult to 1 soju.

Honestly I feel that my drinking frequency is pretty mild and such hangouts are unavoidable in the corporate world.
