According to the Singapore Police Force, 7 individuals between the ages of 15 and 29 were arrested on Saturday (June 12).
They were arrested under rioting armed with a deadly weapon. Five of them will be charged in court tomorrow (June 14).
The incident happened last Friday night, three youngsters were attacked by the group weilding karambit knife. Two of the youngster who are only 14 and 15-years-old were send to the hospital.
The Police is currently investigating in this incident.
For rioting armed with a deadly weapon they could face up to 10 years of jail term along with the rotan.
A 60-year-old man was arrested by the Police after he stabbed another man last night (June 12).
The Police who were alerted to the incident at about 9.35 PM found a man injured with stab wounds at Choa Chu Kang Avenue 3. The 52-year-old victim was conveyed to the hospital.
Investigations revealed that the men were acquainted.
By the time the Police arrived at the scene, the 60-year-old man has already escaped the scene, only the be found and arrested 2 hours later for attempted murder.
The man will be charged tomorrow (June 14) for attempted murder.
According to Section 307 of the Penal Code, For attempted murder the 60-year-old could be jailed for life along with rotan.
A netizen shared a photo on a Facebook page “complaint Singapore” that there is a man that always goes from one commuter to another to ask for cash claiming that he is hungry and in need to buy food.

A serious accident occured between a motorcycle and a mini bus, at the junction between Geylang Road and Geylang Lorong 20.
The motorcyclist was hit by the mini bus and the impact sent the rider flying 3 metres before landing on the ground, vomiting blood.
The incident happened on 11 June at around 5.06pm.
The 45-year-old motorcyclist was conveyed conscious to the hospital, while the 67-year-old mini bus driver was arrested on charges of negligent driving causing serious injury to others.
