4 of the 6 males were arrested on the scene and 2 more who escaped the scene were arrested on the same day.
The Police said that seven other people between the ages of 15 and 43 are presently cooperating with the Police for further investigations. A knife was also found.
According to the Police Media release, they are warning a scam variant where the scammer pretends to be your friend or family and ask for money.
The Police said that they would contact the victim either with calls or messages and seek “financial assistance”.
The numbers are typically called from unknown numbers, after the victim picks up the phone they will not say who they are. When the victim asked the scammer, the scammer would typically use the following answer:
“Guess who am I? You can’t remember me?”.
They would then convince the victim that they are acquainted and upon establishing their relation the caller would say that they lost their handphone and calling them from a different number.
The scammer might not immediately ask the victim for money and would normally tell them to save the caller ID’s number as a phonebook contact and replacing the old contact.
After some time they would start asking for loans with the following excuses:
asking for a loan due to financial difficulties
asking for a loan because he/she got into trouble with the law.
Victims would then be asked to transfer the money to bank accounts belonging to unknown individuals, as provided by the callers. Victims would only discover that they had been scammed when they contacted their friends and realised that they had not contacted the victims nor changed their contact number.
Re-enactment (S for scammer, V for victim)
S: Hello brother how are you?
V: Who is this?
S: you forgot me ah?
S: You don’t know who I sound like meh?
V: You sound like andy
S: ya la, I’m andy
S: I’m calling to tell you I lost my phone, this is my new number, please save it
Embarrassing confession here. My girlfriend told me she does not get wet when she sees me anymore and demand I take the following steps if not she will break up with me.
I am here to ask if people think I should listen to her? She wants me to lose 5kg as I have a muffin top. She wants me to go for a hair transplant as I am receding at the temples. Full head of hair otherwise though.
She said it is embarrassing for her to be seen dating someone who might go bald one day. She wants me to go for plastic surgery to shave the bone around my jaw as she said my face is too wide. I actually went to see a surgeon who told me she thinks it is a bad idea as usually, this sort of drastic surgery is more for people who have been in serious accidents.
Overall I will say I am a slightly above average looking guy. I am not particularly good looking but there are girls who are drawn to my looks. My girlfriend on the other hand can easily be a model.
She is super vain and is the sort who can spend four hours just picking the perfect lipstick colour.
I am honestly quite dismayed though that she seems to be viewing me as a cosmetic product for herself too.

A netizen shared her story after her young granddaughter was made pregnant by a 19-year-old YP and ill-treats the baby and the mother.
Here is the story:
BEWARE OF THIS GUY
reached my max tolerance towards this 19-year-old guy name of “GOH **** ****” staying in ANG MO KIO.
you are really a very very big liar towards teenager girls! please stay away from my granddaughter! you had given her and the baby so much hurt! you and your family never ever step out to face any of us, no responsibility, no sincerity. Your mum just ignores our text when I sent it in last year.
My daughter has stayed with you from September till December. She does not have food to eat over there, she asked the family to order grab food for her as she is so hungry. when a baby cries, you were feeling irritating and use your nails to scratch the baby thigh, infant care teachers contacted me and show me the wound/scar.
You even controlled my daughter not to go home, yes she is love blinded. I know it takes 2 hands to clap. But since you can’t take care of them can you please leave them far far away. Don’t mess with their life anymore.
Relationship with 15-year-old
And recently, I found out that you just broke up with a 15 years old girl. I hope you don’t go around taking advantage of young girls.
My granddaughter gave birth in 2020 March, all along the journey including in the delivery suite and confinement, we are the ones who helps her and take care of her and the baby. We paid for the hospital fees and confinement expenses. what you have done? you did nothing at all. And now you started appearing again and sweet talk to my granddaughter, telling her that you are changing to be better.
Man-made structures have always been a problem for mother nature and animals are often stuck or in distress because of us. A mother boar was spotted waiting for her boars to climb up and they seem unable to do so.
Facebook page Singapore Wildlife sighting published photos and description of the story:
“Poor piglets fell into the drain. The mother and piglets subsequently moved towards the opposite side of the drain, deep into the forest.
Pray that ACRES can come asap ( after they finish settling few more cases on hand ) to rescue the piglets. Some good Samaritans put some logs so that the piglets will not be washed into the bigger drain.”

The piglets trying very hard to follow their mother but are unable to climb up due to the man-made structure.
Poor animal suffering due to man-kind, the mother looks helpless.
