UNVACCINATED MAN KPKB SCOLD VULGARITIES WHEN REJECTED ENTRY BY RESTAURANT

A Facebook post shared by Facebook user LG Han stated of an incident that happened at Restaurant Labyrinth located in Esplanade.

Here is the story:

So on our first day of reopening last night, this happened:

⁣⁣⁣⁣A couple with a reservation walks in, and my GM requested to see their vaccination status on their Trace Together App after doing Safe Entry Check In. The guy casually flashes the app and when asked to show it clearly and to refresh the app in front of us to ensure that it is not a screenshot, we realised that his status is not yet fully vaccinated as per the TT app.⁣⁣⁣⁣

We refused to admit them as it is against the law and my GM even empathised with him saying that he himself cannot eat out for now either as the law defines fully vaccinated as 14 days after the 2nd jab.

⁣⁣⁣⁣Upon being denied entry and informed politely by my GM that their reservation deposit will be forfeited, the guy immediately goes into a rage claiming

⁣⁣1) he made the booking before the new laws were passed ⁣⁣(just to clarify: this is what he claimed, his reservation was in fact made on 8 Aug)

2)he did not know abt the 14 days window ⁣⁣

3) said it was unreasonable that we will take his deposit yet refuse to serve him in the restaurant ⁣⁣⁣

and then proceeded to hurl profanities to my GM and another staff (the F word was used twice) and even mocked their intellect⁣ and threatened to go online to post abt the incident to let the netizens “decide”⁣ and demanded to escalate this to the GM of the restaurant (whom he was talking to all this while).

My GM and PA held firm and remained calm throughout the exchange and refused him entry of which I am truly proud of but I feel sad for that they had to be verbally abused just for abiding the law.

⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣Dear all, I have heard that what my staff have gone thru ytd isn’t an isolated incident since reopening and that other restaurants have also had similar experiences with errant customers who tried to cheat the system and being nasty to the restaurant.

Please, this is not our fault, we are just following the laws to protect you as a diner amidst the pandemic and we truly want to create a safe environment for our guests and my staff.

The story haven’t end

After the man was denied entry he went to Google to give a 1-star review

He clearly violated the IPRA Law (Indigenous Peoples Rights Act of 1997) Republic Act No. 8371, which is a Philippine law that recognizes and promotes the rights of indigenous cultural communities and indigenous peoples in the Philippines.”

In her Facebook post she said:

Today’s meeting with the Commission on Human Rights Region V— their official investigation on the recent issues surrounding the exploitation against me and the farmers here perpetuated by some vlogger.

I did say I would not provide more statements on the matter to the general public, but glad to provide my statements for the official procedures and processes that are being taken to address this. The attacks against me are on social media, but my platform is real life— undeniable. Rest assured that actions are being taken to safeguard our people, and prevent further incidents like this.

PERVERT NEIGHBOUR PEEPS INTO BEDROOM & TAKES PHOTOS

This incident happened at Kallang Bahru in the afternoon, I caught my next-door neighbour directing their phone camera into our bedroom from their toilet’s window yesterday.

Initially, I shouted “stop peeping..” and I can clearly see the person at that unit shifted the phone a while before re-positioned it pointing towards my direction again. I immediately notify my husband and called the police immediately.

A male and a female is staying in that unit. When the police arrived about half an hour later, they did go over to the next-door unit. The police mentioned that the female occupant admitted that she HAD THE INTENTION to take pictures of me but never did.

The police mentioned they could not found any photos on their phone and hence there is no evidence to proceed. This was not their first time as she admitted that she took a video of my grandma without her consent on another occasion.

My grandma did not pursue it as she was not aware the action could be considered illegal. That unit has been harassing our unit and other neighbours on other issues as she thought they can get away with everything – apparently it seemed she managed to talk her way out every time. Any advices on how to bring justice to this issue?

Isn’t it illegal to “peep” or take pictures/videos of someone’s bedroom without consent (furthermore she verbally also admit the intention and I saw her doing it)? HELP please…

TAXI DRIVER PICKS UP FEMALE GHOST, TURN AROUND AND SHE’S GONE

A taxi driver in Japan captured an eerie and scary incident that happened inside his taxi on his dashcam.

He picked up a female passenger who boarded his taxi, and although the camera didn’t capture her, it captured the car door opening and slamming shut by itself, as if someone opened and closed it.

Throughout the ride, it appears as though the driver could see the woman, but the cctv footage didn’t capture her, except for a short moment when she materialised on camera.

The ghostly figure was seen with a visible face, although the lower part of her body couldn’t be seen.

Also, upon closer inspection, her face appears to be swollen and distorted, like how drowned corpses appear.

The incident happened in Japan.

MAN MARRIES GF THAT DECEASED GRANDMA DESPISE, ALTAR CAUGHT FIRE DURING WEDDING

A story was shared online by a netizen asking if he should respect the wishes of his late grandmother after the altar in his home caught on fire during the tea ceremony.

Here is the story:

Here is a bit of a back story, I’m together with this girl for a few years and I brought her home a few times. But my grandmother despised her and said that I should not bring back a Hainanese woman home as it is bad luck and said that “Hainan women are crazy”.

My parents did not really care but my grandma was absolutely pissed after finding out that her dialect is Hainanese. I told my grandma that she is gentle and good to me but she refuses to even say anything to her.

My grandmother died of a stroke a few months later.

It’s been more than a year since the passing of my grandmother and I can finally have my wedding ceremony, I’m 27-years-old this year and my wife is 26-years-old. I just got married a few days ago but something happened that made me doubt the marriage.

The tea ceremony was conducted in my home’s living room and just when my “wife to be” was offering the tea to my parents the altar in my home caught fire. Apparently, a candle fell and started burning the offerings on the altar.

The eerie thing is my grandmother’s photo was on the altar and there was no wind coming in from the windows and the altar is placed at a location where the ceiling fan will not be able to affect.

My mother immediately realised what had happened and told us to have the tea ceremony in the room and said to wait inside for 15 minutes later. We were ushered into the room by my uncle and he told us to wait there. It’s like my mother is telling me we cannot have the ceremony “in front of my grandmother”.

My mother told me to keep quiet and said she will clean up. My mother started to pray at the altar and clean up the mess made by the fire. 15 minutes later my mother and father came into the room and we continued the tea ceremony.

I am seeking the advice of any elderly if there is anything I need to do. As much as I do not want to believe this I feel that there is something more I can do.
