Drivers are advised to drive within the road speed limit and oblige to all traffic rules. If no do wrong no need hide! Driving safely should be all road users number one concern for the sake of you, others and your future.

So here I am lying on the bed at ng teng Fong’s A&E after my meal at Soup Restaurant 三盅两件 Jurong point branch
Specifically told them I’m allergic to seafood and asked for dishes without
Ordered their spinach with three eggs dish
And double checked again when it’s served and waiter said there isn’t any.
Had a few mouth and felt weird and found shreds of unknown ingredient that looked like scallop.
Asked again and the waiter deny there was any scallop and said it’s just shredded egg.
By then I stopped eating the dish and was feeling uncomfy and my skin started itching badly. My eye started swelling as well.
Asked another waiter and kinda got brushed off
Till the 4th time the waiter finally agreed to ask the kitchen after I emphasis it looked like scallop n I am allergic to shellfish
The waiter came back saying “oh they put a little bit inside only”
By that time my heart start racing and I couldn’t even reply or what so my mum had to bring me to the nearest GP which didn’t make me better and I ended up at the A&E with drips n injection
Dad went back to the restaurant and all they said was “we will feedback to management”
This is not the first time I been through such situation at restaurants or hawkers
There is a serious lack of awareness of food allergies in Singapore
N food vendors should know and that one careless mistake can be life threatening
I’m considered lucky to end up on a bed at A&E. There are people who die from this.
“A little bit inside only” is still considered as having the ingredient. One mouth is enough to trigger my allergy attack.
It’s really depressing to go through this as I can’t control such situation.
It’s not about compensation or what though I spent like almost $200 for the attack already and needles are painful to me
But to raise the awareness of food allergies and it’s seriousness! And how management n food vendors should react better!
CAUTIOUS!!! Dangerous teether & toys for babies. Please share with friends with babies.
Bought this teether from a supermarket. I washed it and just before giving to my baby realised there are some small sharp parts that can pose HUGE DANGER to baby especially when they bite hard with their soft gums. I tried sliding it across my hand. It caused a scratch and it was very painful.
I thought it might be just this particular teether that I bought. I called up the company to inform them so that they can check and recall back this product if the whole shipment is affected. To my surprise they brushed me off until I say I will post this on social media to warn mothers about the danger of this toy. Then they ask me to bring back so that they can refund me.
After 2 weeks, I went to their warehouse at ChaiChee. The staff who picked up my call asked me to show her where is the faulty part. I ask her to check and tell me instead but she kept insisting that there is no issue and then asked me to wait before she went into their office. After 10minutes, she came out and asked me for receipt. I ask her she cant recognise her own company product is it? I wasn’t there for refund if not I would have gone back to the supermarket that is just few minutes away from my house. Why take the trouble? Then she still insist there is no fault with the teether and is with their “boss”. They are processing the refund because I was not happy with the product.
I then request to speak to the “boss”. He came out and then finally admitted that indeed it was faulty because I use the sharp corners to run through the back of his hands lightly and created 2 scratch marks.
I told them the reason we are taking the trouble of spending precious weekend family time, petrol and parking fees just so that we can prevent injuries in other babies. They were still selling this item in their own warehouse store. I checked one of the exact same teether hanging in the store. It also got the similar sharp part. To my disappointment, they admitted that after my call, they did not do any follow up. I told the “boss” since they are not doing anything then I should post it on social media to share with mothers to watch out for potential danger in the toys given to their babies stating this as example.
Then the “boss” said they will look into it but told me even if there are any mishap they have all the certification to cover them. Their products has gone through tests and obtained certification so they are not worried.
I asked for my pathetic $5.90 refund and left the item with them. They can do whatever they want with it and I will create the awareness myself by posting this.
Hope this will prevent any babies from getting injured. It is not about any company or any product but really is about baby’s safety. It might look like a small issue but when baby gets injured, it is huge to any parent.

A netizen Neeraj Neji started a petition on change.org to ban all electric Personal Mobility Devices (PMDs) on the pedestrian walkway.
So far 3000 people have signed the petition.
With increased affordability in Personal Mobility Devices (PMDs), there is an increase in usage of such vehicles on pedestrian walkways. However, most walkways in Singapore are narrow, following the concept of a 5-foot walkway from British colonial days.
Furthermore, many riders of PMDs lack formal training in the etiquette when using such devices and cause accidents when they hit pedestrians. Riders of PMDs believe that they are the legitimate users of the walkway and refuse to slow down or give way to walking pedestrians.
I therefore seek to petition for an island wide ban on PMDs until our infrastructure could catch up with the needs of PMDs, including giving PMDs their own path that is separated from pedestrian walkways. The only exclusion from this ban should be for handicapped individuals who require PMDs to commute.

seeing no end to this problem i warn him n proceed to drive to sengkang npc
only then he say go “194 rivervale dr”
this cb kia had INTENDED to run fare if I had not recorded earlier !!!
at 194 r. dr he still haggled on, then threaten me to report police saying “police cannot do anything” over n over again
wasted precious time at sengkang npc then he handed me his ic n say he’ll pay if i send him to 194 to collect the fare
at 194 he again kay siao then finally went upstairs
by the time he came down fare was almost $ 50
still he play punk, refuse to pay n challenged me to call the police

stopped meter when police arrive n it was another 15 or 20 minute b4 i finally get $40 for all the trouble
