LTA OFFICER CANT TELL DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 0126AM AND 1326HRS
I was not driving today for grab and was sending my son to school. While waiting for my wife in the carpark, a grab enforcement officer came up to me and told me he need to do a few enforcement check. He ask for my PdvI/Tdvl, need to check the condition of my car and tyre as well as to check my phv decal. He then commented that I was wearing shorts.
I explained to him nicely that I am not driving for grab now and hence I am in this attire. However he keep insisting that I was driving for grab. He told me my last job was 0126hrs. I had to explain to him 5 times before he get it that my last job was 0126am. And not 1326hrs.
My question is, does LTA does this check to taxi driver? I am only a grab partner but why am I subject to grab enforcement check? Just because they are the king now? Worst. Today is my off day. I am driving my own car and wearing shorts. Is there anything wrong? Just because I am driving for them and I am subject to their scrutiny? Worst still check me in the middle of the carpark with all eyes on me like I did something wrong. Feeling damn piss.
Just a friendly reminder to all Drivers to be mindful of your attire. And yes even when you are on your off day, they can come and disturb you cause they are the king now.

YISHUN PRC CHEAPO WANT SAVE $2 SO BOOK NORMAL GRAB FOR KIDS
This is not another picture downloaded from Google. This picture was snapped by myself just right after a “dispute” which I had with the lady in this picture. This is a very common sight faced not just by me but by majority of my fellow Private Hire drivers. As for this picture, this is how the story goes.
The lady, a Chinese PRC, had booked for a GRABCAR trip from Yishun to Orchard. She was almost 10 minutes late before she finally appeared near my car. She offered no apology for being late. To add on to my frustration, she turned up with the 2 kids as seen in the picture.
As usual, I had to inform her that I’m unable to proceed with the trip and she had to cancel and re-book under GRABFAMILY. As expected, she started arguing and replied that since I wasn’t willing to carry on with the trip, I had to cancel on my side. I wasted no time and took my phone to call Grab to complain, hoping to get some help and while I was doing so, the lady just walked away. Feeling extremely pissed off, I simply ended my call to Grab, took a picture of this lady walking off with her kids, canceled the trip from my end.
Luckily, this was my first time using the 1 out of 3 PASSENGER NO SHOW : RATES NOT AFFECTED function in the cancellation mode. Within seconds, I managed to get another trip request at the neighbouring block. Dear parents, we can do this again and again. I’m sick and tired of complaining.
Whatever I feel and wish to tell you is stated in this picture. I hope that this will stir up your senses and encourage you to be a more responsible parent. More than this I have nothing to say.
If you’re destined to learn from negative consequences then no one can help you. God bless

As per your “leaked conversation”.
1) What was fed to everyone living in this country was that, the deciding factor, nail hammered to the board that the only reason why the weight was limited to 20kg was due to the fact that if the pmd were to be heavier in weight and if there were to be a collision, the impact would be greater, physics 101, same goes for speed, the lighter the pmd, the slower it runs, the lesser the impact, thus for the safety of the pedestrians and all who are still breathin, the weight was limited to 20kg.
Now this is where it gets interesting. You stabbed yourself in the back when you addressed the leaked conversation that was in circulation, to cut the story short, we know now that in actual fact, the conversation did actually took place, it doesn’t matter who leaked it out or who was it sent to. The least you could had done was to explain, but you didn’t, oh well it was within your rights not to do so.
2) You mentioned that the decision for the weight limit was never about the, “FORCE OF IMPACT”, it was basically to rid our society of all, “BIG INTIMIDATING RIDES”.
3) You mentioned that the LTA CHIEF made you promise in exchange for his/their endorsement.
So can we trust the LTA? What you mentioned in the conversation is incriminating towards a government official and also a government stat board. So have you been telling lies from the get-go? Has the LTA been telling lies from the get-go?
You as the chairman of BWSS, and an advisor to the Active Mobility Panel, with such conversation, makes it seem that the proposed proposal was biased from the get-go, it evolved from the actual aspect of safety to an exorcism of your agenda.
I believe we can all learn from this situation, and everyone has the right to seek the truth. You definitely have loads of explaining to do.
I am exercising my right as a citizen of this country to seek opinions on social media as per to my doubts based upon this leaked conversation. In no way am i implicating anyone nor any organisation in particular. We want the truth, we deserve the truth and we need the truth. In the eyes of the law, it states, anything you say or do can be used against you in the court of law.

APPEALING FOR FOOTAGE. PILLION LEG RUN OVER BY LORRY!!
I am helping this rider to appeal for witness with regards to this accident.
They were travelling along SLE towards BKE on 4 May 2018 around 1915hrs.
The pillion‘s leg was run over by the lorry and is hospitalised for many days. The rider suffered some bruises on the face and limbs. They were too shocked to note down any number plate of either vehicle. They only can tell the taxi involved is red in colour. Please help to share. Thanks a million. 感恩。
