I LOVE SOMEONE BUT I NOT IN LOVE WITH THAT SOMEONE! WHAT SHOULD I DO?

0

Is it possible to love someone but not be in love with someone? Like you really just want to be there for them, when they’re sad and down, but not fall for them in a romantic way? Like you sometimes can’t help but want to ask if they’re ok, but you don’t want them to misunderstand your intentions and all? Like you care for them more than as a friend, but never quite reaching a point where you wish the two of you could be together in a relationship?

SEVERAL FALLEN TREES HAVE BEEN REPORTED ALONG YISHUN DAM WITH FLASH FLOODING!

Driver take note when driving along Yishun Dam. Several fallen tress in the area have been reported.

Over Singapore on Tuesday evening (Jan 30) heavy downpour of rain, causing streak surges along a street in Seletar and falling trees in a few regions.

A fallen tree caused the Yio Chu Kang Road exit to the Seletar Expressway (SLE) from the Tampines Expressway (TPE) to be shut.

The Land Transport Authority said on its activity news Twitter channel at 5.10pm that the exit was shut.

National water office PUB had issued a substantial rain caution at 4.14pm, citing the National Environment Agency (NEA) which said that overwhelming precipitation was normal over the island from 4.50pm to 5.40pm.

Water surges at Seletar North Link influenced the two paths and prompted drivers to stay away from the region. A photograph it posted shows cloudy water at the scene.

FLASH FLOODS ON 24 JANUARY IN THREE LOCATION JALAN BOON LAY, CRAIG ROAD AND OUTRAM ROAD!

0

At around 5.15pm, flash floods occurred in three locations – Jalan Boon Lay/International Road, Craig Road and Outram Road (in front of Tan Boon Liat Building).

Jalan Boon Lay/International Road, Craig Road are known flood hotspots*. There are plans for drainage improvement works at Jalan Boon Lay/International Road in tandem with upcoming development works in the area. PUB is studying measures to improve the drainage at Craig Road. The flood at Outram Road is next to PUB’s drainage construction worksite and we are investigating further.

Singapore is still experiencing the Northeast Monsoon season, which is expected to continue till March. We urge the public to exercise caution and avoid stepping into or driving into flooded areas. During this period of monsoon season, the public should stay tuned to radio broadcast and check PUB’s Facebook www.facebook.com/PUBSg or PUB’s mobile app “MyWaters” for flood updates.

*Hotspots are localised areas where flash floods occur due to intense storms or specific localised conditions such as constrictions and bottlenecks in the drains, depressions along the road and inadequate drainage outlets along the roads.

IS UBERFLASH A GOOD WAY FOR COMFORT CAB DRIVER TO MAXIMISE THEIR PROFIT?

With Uberflash offering CDG drivers an additional platform…..

As a taxi driver, your primary goal is to maximise your fare collection (your revenue). A paying pax in your cab is better than cruising your taxi aimlessly without a fare. You know your costs for the day; rental + fuel/ diesel. Your aim is to recover your costs ASAP by collecting as much fares in the shortest possible time. Once you’ve reached your costs target, any additional fares you collect are your profit. This profit is unstoppable as long as you continue to have paying pax in your cab. How much you want to make depends on how long you can continue to drive; as these fares are your profit.

How to recover your daily costs ASAP?

Answer is EFFICIENCY.

Many people confuse between efficiency and effectiveness. Efficiency is doing things right, while effectiveness is doing the right things.

Choose your game plan. The choice is yours.
