NAKED RUSSIAN CHARGED, THREATENS TO SHOOT MAN AT ORCHARD

A Russian man is accused multiple offences which included cursing the police, breaching of COVID-19 regulations, spitting at a man and threatening to shoot him.

Larinov Andrei, 40, was handed 12 charges on Tuesday which also included the usage of criminal force and appearing drunk and nude in a public place. Another charge of molesting a woman in 2019 was taking into consideration.

On April 20th, he allegedly spat at a man before threatening him with grievous hurt by saying: “If this is Russia, I will shoot you.”.

On May 2, he is accused of causing annoyance to two police officers at the guard house of the police’s Tanglin Division in 21 Kampong Java Road. Five minutes later, he allegedly went nude at the same guard house.

He will be remanded and will return to court on Jun 11.

NETIZEN DISGUSTED WITH QUALITY OF NEW MASK ISSUED AT CC

A netizen has posted about the new mask which he has collected from the community centre. The netizen shared his experience on Sg-share together when he collected his free six face mask for his family.

He stated that upon collecting his free mask, he the proceed to wash the mask with water. Too his horror, the mask literally turned yellow after rinsing.

Currently, we do not know the main reason for the severe discoloration of the face mask. Or whether it will get cleaner if we wash it with detergent. But what do you expect for something that is free.

MAN DENIES HAVING “CB” PARTY AFTER VIDEO OF GATHERING GOES VIRAL

The man who posted the video of himself hanging out with a group of friends came forward to tell his side of the story.

He stated that the video with the caption “CB part? More like HP party” was an old video and it was not taken during the circuit breaker period.

He stated that it was an old video that he posted but many took it for real and started sharing it on their Facebook. He even provided proof and shared a picture of himself with a shaven head.

He goes on to say that the video posted depicts him with long hair. He even posted the timestamp of the video which clearly shows that the video was recorded on 23 June 2019.

So I guess its a misunderstanding after all. So don’t be too quick to jump the gun. Or maybe people should stop posting stuff that may cause unwanted misunderstandings.

TP OFFICER DRIVES MOTORBIKE INTO WALL IN ANG MO KIO

A picture has been circulating on Traffic accidents.SG Facebook page showing an accident caused by a traffic police and his motor bike. Netizens are also speculating what the motorbike was doing at the void deck in the first place.

It was alleged that the bike hit onto the wall at the void deck. The picture shows police and various bystanders at the scene. We are still unclear on the actual reason on why the accident happened. The floor seems to be wet with oil or water. He could have skidded or it could be a malfunction of the bike.

The accident happened at Ang Mo Kio. We sincerely hope that both the officer and the wall are okay.

RIVER VALLEY CONDO RESIDENTS BANS GRABOOD RIDERS FROM TAKING LIFT

A post on hardwarezone forum showed a sign placed at the lobby of the condominium.

It stated that the residents of RV Point have kindly requested that Grabfood delivery partners refrain from using the lifts as it is only for residents of the building.

It goes on to stated that such delivery riders should use the stairs. A check on this condominium stated that the condominium has 7 floors. So should the delivery rider walk up 7 flights of stairs to deliver food for such residents?

S’POREANS VOLUNTEER TO ADOPT POPPY SAVED FROM EUTHANASIA BY VET

Senior dog Poppy, who was saved from euthanasia by a local vet, was put up for adoption by the clinic.

His owner decided to put Poppy down as he found it difficult to care for him. They sent the dog to Gentle Oak Veterinary Clinic to be put down, but the vets decided against it.

The vets stated that Poppy deserved the right to fight to live and the dog was still bright and able to receive treatment. That decision save the dogs life and a nurse at the vet took the dog in.\

Many Singaporeans came forward to enquire on adopting poppy. The post on their Facebook page thanked those who have contacted the clinic and some adopters have been shortlisted.

35 YEAR OLD MAN CHARGED FOR COVID-19 SCAM INVOLVING $910,000

According to the media release, a 35-year-old man was charged on the 28 May 2020 for his involvement in cheating.

The police were alerted on the 21 May 2020 about a case of cheating involving a total of $910,500.

According to the media release, an oversea company had ordered N95 masks and PPE suits form the man’s company. The man went missing in action after payment was made and the orders were not delivered.

After investigation, the police has successfully identified the 35-year-old man and arrested him on the 26 May 2020. On the day of the arrest, the police seized 2 watches and over $81,000 in cash from his residences.

The Police managed to work with 3 local banks to retrieve more than $370,000 in cash.

According to the law, anyone convicted for cheating will face a jail term up to 10 years and fine. Anyone convicted for money laundering will face a jail term up to 10 years and fine up to $50,000 or both.

BIKER GROUP INVESTIGATED AFTER GATHERING DURING HARI RAYA

A group of 10 bikers who were filmed gathered at a patrol kiosk before racing out together are under investigation for possible traffic offences and breaching safety distancing rules.

A video which was posted on the SG Road Vigilante showed many riders gathering at the patrol kiosk before racing out together.

It is said that the video is partially edited and merged together with a video in 2018.

62 YEAR OLD MAN FOUND DEAD @ LOWER SELETAR RESERVOIR PARK

According to the media release, a 62-year-old man was found dead on the 27 May 2020 in a public toilet located at Lower Seletar Reservoir Park.

Police were seen sealing up the public toilet with tape and police were spotted looking and collecting evidence for the case.

The Police were alerted about the incident at 6.58 am, the man was pronounced dead on scene by a paramedic.

According to the police, the cause of death is currently unknown and the case was classified as an unnatural death.

UNCLE CHALLENGED LAW ENFORCER TO FINE HIM @ BEO CRESCENT MARKET

According to the media release, an elderly man was spotted challenging law enforcer at Beo Crescent Market. The incident is sparked after the uncle was asked to put on a mask by the law enforcer.

Instead of putting on a mask, the uncle shouted at the law enforcer challenged them to give him a summon. In the process, the uncle even threatened to beat up the law enforcer.

The incident lasted less than 10 minutes after the law enforcer left the scene, the uncle was seen putting on a mask while walking into the market.

It is mandatory to wear a mask while outside your residences during the circuit breaker period. Anyone caught now wearing a mask will be fine $300 and $1,000 for repeat offenders.
