We have successfully deduced that it is because if he can’t see the coronavirus, the coronavirus probably can’t see him too.

Pictures of a combined operation between the LTA and Traffic Police were recently uploaded on the Facebook page SGRV which shows officers nabbing cyclists for failing to comply to various traffic laws.

As part of our continued efforts to enforce road and traffic safety, our #AMEOs were joined by the Traffic Police this weekend in their enforcement ops at multiple locations across the island. This time around, the ops focused on active mobility users.
From the AYE and West Coast Highway to Bukit Timah and Tanah Merah Coast Road, we took the opportunity to drill home the message of safe cycling and took errant cyclists to task. 
While most were law abiding, we did find 16 cyclists who rode on the road without helmets, and another 16 for beating the red light. Two also rode against the flow of traffic.

A 6-year-old boy was involved in a car accident that resulted in him being trapped under the wheel of the car.
A 51-year-old male driver has since been arrested for a negligent act causing grievous hurt.
The incident reportedly happened at a zebra crossing outside Safra Toa Payoh, at Lorong 6 Toa Payoh, at about 2pm on 15 April.
The boy, who was with his mother at the time, was trapped under the wheel of the car as three passers-by attempted to lift the car to free him, but were unable to do so.
Another passerby offered a car jack to them to lift up the car, and the boy was finally freed.
However, the boy was unconscious when being conveyed to the hospital.
His mother was very distraught at the scene.
At the time of writing, police investigations are still ongoing…

The Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) said in a press release on 16 April that 6 people, aged between 26 and 33, have been arrested for suspected drug activities.
The two-day operation saw about 1.7kg of cannabis (marijuana) and other drugs being seized in multiple locations, with a total street value of about $45,000.
The two day operation began on the evening of 15 April at a Chinatown hotel, with a 26-year-old Malaysian man being arrested and taken to his room where officers found 10g of cannabis and 20 Erimin-5 tablets.
Another 4 Singaporeans and a Malaysian; a 33-year-old woman and three men aged between 26 and 30, as well as a 26-year-old Malaysian,were arrested at the same hotel, in another room.
About 118g of cannabis, 104g of Ice, 8 ecstacy tablets, as well as drug paraphernalia were found in the room.
The 26-year-old Singaporean was brought to his motorcycle near the hotel, where another 50g of cannabis were seized by officers.
He was then taken to his residence the next morning, at Bukit Batok, and another 1.54kg of cannabis was seized.
Investigations are currently still ongoing.

A motorcyclist shared his dashcam footage of a courteous and humble driver who signals when he’s changing lanes.
He added that the driver even did the famous Japanese “thank you” hand sign out of the window to thank him.
He applauded the driver’s gesture and thinks that more motorists should take a leaf out of this driver’s book and learn from him.

A disgruntled customer shared how he bought a bun from an NTUC outlet, and discovered mould on it.
He claims that it has happened a few times at that particular outlet and that this time, it’s his pregnant daughter who ate it.
He laments the alleged lack of protocols for correction.

A Facebook user shared how a drinks stall auntie at a coffeeshop at Pioneer Junction, went table to table to shout at workers who were finishing their meal.
She allegedly shouted at them: “NO DRINK DON’T SIT!”
The workers purportedly just finished their meal and were resting for a bit, chit chatting among themselves.

A video was recently uploaded on the Facebook page SGRV which shows a taxi driver getting down from his car before reaching into his boot to grab a metal pipe. It is alleged that he then uses the metal pipe to threaten a driver after getting honked at.

Abel Tan Yew Hong, 28, pleaded guilty to 3 counts of insulting the modesty of a woman, with another seven charges considered during his sentencing.
Tan was sentenced to 11 weeks of jail on Friday, 16 April.
Tan was an engineer who took upskirt videos of his victims on escalators, standing behind them and filming them with his Sony Xperia phone.
On 5 September 2019, he followed his victim up 3 flights of escalators to take her upskirt video at Serangoon MRT station.
He was caught on 10 September 2019 when he was filming another video at Bedok MRT station, where a man saw him taking the video and stopped him.
He was then taken to the MRT staff, who called the police on him.
His phone was then seized and examined, and his offences then came to light.
Tan’s defence lawyer said that Tan had become interested in upskirt videos online, noticing that some of the videos were high quality while some were low quality.
He added that his intention was “merely to experiment and find out if his mobile camera could take the high-quality videos he saw on the internet.”
Tan is currently out on bail of $5,000 and is due to surrender himself on 26 April to begin serving his sentence.
A video emerged online showing a baby playing with an open pack of cigarettes.
The cigarettes was allegedly given to the baby by his mother, and the video was captioned:
