An anonymous girl shared how her ex-boyfriend was a disgusting eater.
She shared that he would chew with his mouth open, smack his lips and get bits of food all over his “three chin hairs (not a beard)”.
She wrote that her breaking point came one day when they were both having beef noodles and she looked across and saw him slurping away; he had his glasses sliding down his nose, his lips were glistening with beef grease and half chewed noodles were flyout out of his opened mouth.
She added that at that point she just thought to herself: “wtf am I doing with my life?”

The brother was frying nuggets for the both of them when his sister smelled something burning and saw the pan on fire.
She then turned off the stove and tried to smother the flames with a blanket and some items of clothing, but the plastic shelf nearby continued to melt.
The SCDF confirmed that they responded to a fire at a kitchen stove on the 10th floor of a HDB flat at Tampines Street 81, and that 6 other neighbours (including the siblings) were evacuated.
It is worth highlighting that the siblings are grown adults in their 20s.
A video surfaced online showing a group of young punks engaging in a verbal altercation.
One of the guys wearing a white hat tried to stop the squabble from escalating into a fight, so he decided to hug the guy and drag him away.
But because they were presumably too drunk to even stand properly, the two fell down together while still locked in an embrace as they knocked over the surrounding tables and chairs.
The incident purportedly happened at Prinsep Street.
A netizen took to Instagram to share how she was allegedly attacked by her boyfriend.
She said that her boyfriend was allegedly spreading rumours about her cheating on him, when in actual fact he was the one cheating on her.
She wrote that her boyfriend was “triggered” when her ex-boyfriend contacted her, but she allegedly didn’t respond as their engagement was due to commence the following week.
Her boyfriend then became jealous and hit her in the face inside a lift, resulting in her falling face down onto the ground and her becoming unconscious for a while.
When she came to, her mouth was bloody and her neck was sprained.
She wrote that her boyfriend then advanced towards her while wielding a knife, he was allegedly trying to stab her with the knife but before he could, his parents came and stopped him.
She shared that her boyfriend’s parting words to her was “aku bunuh kau”, which translates to “I kill you”.
She also shared that she is fine at the moment and that a police report has been made.
A photo surfaced online showing a presumed Facebook scammer targeting Ho Ching, the former CEO of Temasek Holdings and most notably, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong’s wife.
The scam profile, going by the moniker, Williams Chan, told her that she has a “very charming and cute smile”, and that she looks “great and beautiful”.
He added that he “found” her profile from a “page” that he visited and tried to “send her a friend request”.
He said that he was attracted to her and requested for her to add him on Facebook instead so that they can communicate and “be very happy”.

A Singaporean girl recently posted on Facebook after she felt that her NS serving boyfriend is cheap as he could only bring her for dates at hawker centers and she felt that the food isn’t Instagram worthy.

I am 20 and my bf is 22 and he is currently in NS which means he earns barely enough to support me. Whenever I request to eat something that is apparently not very comfortable to his wallet (not sure what that means), he will always insist we eat at a nearby foodcourt or hawker?
Firstly, places like that are usually very dirty and hot like why would I even consider dining there? The food’s good but he brought me out for a date so I shouldn’t even be expecting him to request us to eat there? Like it’s a date and I barely get to see him because he only books out on the weekend. Secondly, I prefer food that looks pretty so I can take Instagram worthy pictures of it and have my bragging rights?
Lastly, I don’t want to be seen dressed up in a very cute dress while at a hawker? That doesn’t look pretty to me anymore. Even when eating out at a mall, I was obviously craving for pasta and of course I wanted Hoshino, but he could only offer to dine in at Saizeriya because it was cheaper for him. Wtf? I will never step foot into that restaurant knowing that is where all the poor people go to when they want to eat pasta and try to pretend they are atas, BECAUSE WESTERN IS EXPENSIVE.
Eventually we did ended up in Hoshino, but he didn’t order his food because mine was already $13 which is double of what is offered at Saizeriya in terms of price. Whatever, at least I got to eat what I wanted :). He then went home and cook Maggie for himself? How broke can anyone be? Don’t get a girlfriend if you can’t afford it, especially when you’re in NS. I need some advice and or suggestions to open up my bf’s wallet like stop being stingy…
Lester Cher recently posted on his Facebook after his fast response to a burning smell coming from his car saved his life. The can in question was a BMW and it was still under warranty and still fully serviced by BMW Singapore. They even just did a replacement of a fuse on 4 March 2021.

An escape from a burning car on 6 Mar 21 – While driving along BKE towards PIE, I smelt a burning smell from within the car. Initially thinking that it might be coming from the ambient air outside of the car but I soon realised something was amiss when white smoke started coming out from passenger side aircon.

I immediately pulled the car aside to the road shoulder, shutting it down and inspect the vehicle. There was totally no warning light/ messages and the engine was fine. However, the smoking did not cease, it started getting darker and heavier and that was when I suspected that the source of the smoke may be from the fuse box and truly, it was.

As I opened up the lid of the fuse box behind the glove compartment, there was clear audible sparking noises as well as a fire within the fuse box. Without hesitation, I called 995 for help and evacuated to a distance away from the car in fear that it might explode as it happened to a recent unfortunate BMW accident. EMAS turned up at the location very shortly to fight the fire with a portable extinguisher but to no avail. A few minutes later, it grew bigger and very soon the car was totally engulfed by the flames. Eventually, the SCDF arrived and a team of brave firefighters took out the inferno in less than 5mins. No one was hurt from the incident

•P.S. Car was under warranty and still fully serviced by BMW Singapore. They just did a replacement of a fuse on 4 Mar 21, two days before the incident. No mods to car.
