A total of six cases of smullging of duty-unpaid merchandise was foiled by the ICA.

The first one that caught our eyes was the man with a suspicious bulge in his pants.

A man was caught on the 11 of September 2019, A 39-year-old Malaysian man with a suspicious bulge in his pants.  After he was caught by the officer’s attention, they soon discovered a total of 10 packs of cigarettes that are wrap around his lower parts of his body.

In another case a 55-year-old Romanian attempted to bring in 40 packets of cigarettes but was discovered via the scanning of his luggage

There were four other cases of Singaporeans and one Russian national that attempted to bring in duty unpaid cigarettes with various methods such as hiding the cigartees underneath clothing such as waist ankles and even socks and boots!

After the recent fatal incident that are related to E-scooters, it is interesting to study how other countries actually managed E-scooter usage law.

For countries such as UK, do not allow E-scooter to be on the road as they do not pay road tax and are not allowed in public areas as well. E-scooters are only legal to ride in private property or private. Guess this not only make it fair for the road users that actually pay road tax and safer for everyone.

They do not require license or insurance as well basically its banned in public areas.

While many local netizens voiced out banning of E-scooters, UK netizens are seeking to allow E-scooters as a greener way to travel with less impact to the environment.

Can it be regulated to a stricter extend, such as minimum age, license and tax. We cant judge all E-scooter riders based on a few incidents. So its best to have it regulated just like our cars. Certain skill and safety awareness training needs to be implemented. In another words, Yes, a license.

Petition against “educated” Sex offenders has gathered over 73,000 petitions sign in under a week, during the time the article was posted.

The petition was set up 6 days ago and it has gathered the voices of many who did not agree to the judgement that was given to Siow, a 23-year-old National University of Singapore (NUS) who committed molestation.

The petition was started shortly after the “out-roar” of unhappy netizens who claimed that the probation sentence given to him was not enough.

Even the sender’s SMS name appears to be SingPost but this is a scam!

According to local reports, A local Singaporean man Brandon Lee Bing Xiang was charged in court today for taking shower and upskirt videos of multiple woman at Yale-NUS College.

Brandon committed his in the shower/toilet in the school from a period of Aug 2017 to Mar 2019. The almost two years of illegal activity! Who knows how many videos was taken and how many victims were affected.

According to evidence found he targets at least four woman.

He was charged with a total of 24 charges.

If guilty, he will be looking at jail for up to a year and/or fined for each of the charges. For a total of 24 charges, he can expect a very harsh sentence on him.

I never thought I would have to do this one day, but my world collapsed when I heard the 2 boys are missing. Please contact me immediately if anyone sees them.

My elder son is last seen wearing a grey shirt with the skull head(as shown in the 2nd photo), while the younger one is wearing a dark blue/black shirt.

Both of them are with their grandmother(short hair, plump) who is wearing a white top and carrying a blue shoulder bag.

They were last seen at Bukit Panjang blk 171.

The incident happened when the boy was with his father on the train. They were on their way in the train to Clementi MRT station when.

Faruk Abdulla Al, 27 a worker from Bangladesh approached the boy and started having conversations with him.

He later rested his arm over the boy’s shoulder. Which later on slide down to molest the boy.

The father confronted Faruk on why he was touching his boy. He kneels down and apologies and seeks forgiveness from the father.

The father pulled him out at Tiong Bahru Station and handed him over to the control station staff. Later on, the police arrived and arrested Faruk.

He was recently sentenced to 15 weeks’ jail
