Hi everyone, today I bought House brand basmati rice from Sheng Siong supermarket at Blk 739, bedok reservoir road. We were shock to see a dead RAT inside.

My whole house is full of dead rat smell. I have reported this matter to AVA and Seng Siong management. Seng Siong Manager informed me that they will remove their stock from the store.

I hope they will remove them from other stores too.

My advice to consumers, please don’t buy House Brand rice and hope our authorities will take prompt action. Pls share..

According to the police media, a fight occurred almost a week back at a coffee shop (above image) near Marsilng MRT.

The video was uploaded a few days back of the incident of a few men having a dispute and quarreling while a 47-year-old man appears to be cover in blood on the face.

The Police have arrested five men, aged between 24 and 55, for their suspected involvement in a case of rioting.

On 23 February 2019 at about 9.45pm, the Police received several reports that there was a group of people fighting at a coffee shop located at Blk 167 Woodlands Street 11. The group had fled the scene prior to Police’s arrival. The 47-year-old victim was conscious but refused to be conveyed to a hospital.

Through ground enquiries and investigations, officers from Woodlands Police Division established the identities of the men and arrested them on 27 and 28 February 2019 respectively.

Police investigations are ongoing. Anyone convicted for the offence of rioting under Section 147 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 7 years, and shall also be liable to caning.

Police Media Release

The Police are looking for the man shown in the image below to assist with investigations into a case of intentional harassment which took place inside a MRT train on 26 February 2019 at about 4.40pm. 

Anyone with information is requested to call the Police Hotline at 1800-255-0000 or submit information online at www.police.gov.sg/iwitness. All information will be kept strictly confidential.

The man was caught in the CCTV carrying a plastic bag which the police suspects that the couple had put the baby in.

The corpse was later found in a trash collection center which contains a female newborn. Investigations by the Taiwan police later revealed the plastic bag originated from a restaurant’s garbage bin. The police suspect that the male dump it at the restaurant.

CCTV managed to capture the man identity.

Later on police investigated and identified the man as a 180cm male from Singapore.

Investigations are still going on.

“SG darters couple who deliver their baby in Taiwan n throw the newborn baby in the bin. Heartless creatures! 😡 I wan to dump u all in the rubbish bin!!!”
