31232112312On 12 Jan 2019 at around 8:11am, my wife and I cycled pass Bukit Panjang and Upper Bukit Timah towards Choa Chu Kang, when a coach with registration PC4013G drove beside my wife.

As the coach approached my wife, it drove closer and closer to her, causing her to react instintively and ride closer to the kerb to avoid the coach.

As a result, she hit the kerb and fell towards the grass verge hitting her head and abrasions to her leg.

MAN BOUGHT SEAFOOD FROM DON DON DONKI FOUND WORMS!

4352467676We found a WORM-LIKE PARASITE IN FISH MILT (INNARDS/“SHIRAKO”) THAT WAS BOUGHT AT DON DON DONKI AT ORCHARD CENTRAL, SINGAPORE ON JANUARY 10TH.

Yesterday, I bought the fish milt and was going to cook it in soup – lo and behold, while preparing to cook it this worm-like parasite wriggled out of the fish milt.

Called their customer service line (10th Jan) and they said that someone at their HQ would call us this morning (11th Jan), and then told us to lodge a formal complaint over email. So far there has been NO reply over email,

NOR have we received a call – so, we’re putting this out there to warn the public.

22 Y.O MAN SLASHED AT HO CHING RD PAVILION

4234112Man charged in court after using a weapon to slash a man at Ho Ching Road.

Police Media Release:

 

On 30 December 2018 at 7.45pm, the Police were alerted to a case of a 22-year-old victim who was slashed by a man at a pavilion beside Blk 116 Ho Ching Road.

Through investigations, officers from Jurong Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him on 8 January 2019.

The man will be charged in court on 10 January 2019 with voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means under Section 324 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224. If convicted, he shall be liable for an imprisonment term which may extend to 7 years, or with fine, or with caning, or with any combination of such punishments.

Police operation’s against illegal activity is everywhere. I wonder why these establishments owners still want to try and break the law.

Police Media Release:

The Police have arrested 19 women and one man, aged between 19 and 37, during a three-day enforcement operation against massage establishments and public entertainment outlets along Upper Cross Street, Jalan Besar, Jalan Klapa, Mayo Street, Dunlop Street, South Bridge Road and Duxton Hill from 8 to 10 January 2019.

During the operation conducted by Central Police Division, eight unlicensed massage establishments were detected. Seven women, aged between 21 and 35, were arrested for offences under the Women’s Charter.

Two public entertainment outlets were also found to have contravened licensing conditions. Eleven women and one man, aged between 19 and 37, were arrested for offences under the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act.

Investigations are ongoing.

Actions will be taken against the operators for flouting the rules and regulations under the Public Entertainment Act and Massage Establishment Act 2017. The Police takes a serious view of anyone involved in criminal activities and will continue to take tough enforcement action against those found breaking the law.

MAN ARRESTED AFTER BREAKING INTO UNIT ALONG JALAN LOYANG BESAR!

4122141241It is surprising that in this day and age, housebreaking cases still happen in Singapore. The police has provided a few advise to deter against housebreaking.

Then again, cameras are everywhere guess the suspect still lives in the 60s.

Police Media Release:

The Police have arrested a 33-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of housebreaking.

On 4 January 2019 at about 12.10pm, the Police received a report that a residential unit located along Jalan Loyang Besar had been broken into.

Through ground enquiries and with the aid of police cameras, officers from Bedok Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him on 10 January 2019.

The suspect will be charged in the court on 12 January 2019 with housebreaking under Section 454 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, which is punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 3 years, and shall also be liable to fine.

The Police would like to advise the public to adopt the following crime prevention measures:

  –  Secure all doors, windows and other openings with good quality grills and close-shackled padlocks when leaving your premises unattended, even for a short while;

–   Refrain from keeping large sums of cash and valuables at home; and

– Install a burglar alarm, motion sensor lights and/or close circuit surveillance cameras to cover the access points into your premises. Ensure that they are tested periodically and in good working condition.
