it was on around 10:45am, friday, on yishun mrt traveling to downtown. i step in the last cabin and there i saw a blue-shirted man with a piles of dried brown “grass”.
He calmly and skillfully pack them into a classic cigs shape with thin sheet of white paper.
I’m not sure what he was packing but should we be worried?”

My late grandmother used to take these. I learnt the folding and rolling technique from her when I was a child, oh I missed her… she would use matchsticks to light up the conical shaped cigarette which was rolled using thin white paper. On few occasions, I even drew on the paper and treated them like mini sketch pads lol 😂
This grass thing is called “Ang Hoon” which is actually tobacco and second cheapest comparing to BD a kind cigarette wrapped in leaf. Which cost alot lesses than a pack of cigarettes.
Man goes door to door and claims that he is doing donation for homeless dogs.
Beware of this man ask for donations for homeless dogs, when I ask him about documents he say don’t have and he take pic of my unit number and I take pic of him. I have call mediacorp they don’t have this even.

Delivery drivers sometimes work alone. How to expect someone in the vehicle to wait? Or shall I ask my customers to come down and carry the stocks they ordered? He say is my company’s problem. So what do I do? Tmr go ask my boss help me pay?

Loading Bay sometimes all full of civilian vehicles, nobody go summon also. Or issit delivery Drivers unlucky?
Something I would like to take a moment to share.
Beware when you’re travelling into a certain country via car.
The Customs officer just tore my passport in the foreign country and claimed that it was done in Singapore .
Best part, I open up to the biometric photo ID page for the person to scan my passport in the foreign country and my passport was still intact.
When I turned to see, she in fact tore my passport in front of me and claimed that I tore my passport and asked what’s my purpose of entry to the country with that torn passport.
My reply was, how can Singapore allow me to exit Singapore with a torn passport. They will definitely turn me around.
As said, the female officer refused to listen and she brought me to an office and sat me down there for hours without giving me any explanations.
Ended up, cops were called on me and they were ready to arrest me and also wanted to confiscate my car and said that I was entering their country with a falsified documentation. Sometimes I do wonder if they get their vocabulary checked.
I explained to them that this is a case of NTL and I should be given the rights to return back to my country to rectify this issue . And also, I explained to them that this was actually done by their custom’s officer but their higher authority refused to listen to me. Thank god one of my work colleague came in like an angel to help me out to get the Singapore embassy officers on the phone and to help me out.
Finally, a call was made to them and they released me in the end with much hesitations as they were adamant on arresting me.
When I asked for the officer’s name who tore my passport, all the officials whom were present refused to reveal her name.
In the end, I was released at late hours to go back to Singapore .
The feeling of coming home is definitely damn good as you know that you have your rights in your country and you know that this kind of corruption or corrupted behaviour doesn’t takes place in Singapore .
As much as we like to visit foreign countries, this is definitely one of the most baddest experience which can happen to one person especially when it’s got smth to do with our passport .
Why so much hatred for us Singaporeans who’re entering until you’ve got to tear our passports?
Not all, but a particular bunch of them have really caused a bad impression in whole .
I hope this alerts those around to be vigilant whenever we’re entering foreign countries

Last week i was at Mustafa with my friends walking towards ABC to accually have our supper. Out of nowhere this kid approch me and ask me if i could give her some money for her to go back she got no money.. i ask her who is she with she said with her sister (who really look like high on drug).
I ask that kid to call her sister, both of them say they dont have money to go home… so i gave them the benefits of doubt i took $10 out & my friend did the same. So both of us gave them $20.
AND GUESS WHAT TODAY HAPPEN AGAIN!!
My friend took a picture of this kid who ask from her money saying that she dont have money to go home!!! Unfortunatly my friend remember this same kid and decided NOT to give.
Came a couple next to my friend wanted to give this kid money and my friend say DONT give cos this kid came last week with the same DRAMA and ask for money. This kid litrally POINTED MIDDLE FINGER after my friend generously told the kind couple who wanted to help.
