GEYLANG CHICKEN ASK ME TO MARRY HER. SHOULD I?

censoredHi,

Im in a confuse state right now, I went for a Chicken session last week at Lorong 18 for $50. After I was done with the ‘job’. She told me that i looked like her ex-husband that passed away 2 years ago.

She told me that she felt a sense of romance with me. For me, it was just going for a quick one and getting over with it. She later then asked for my mobile number to contact me.

Initially, I hesitated and did not want to give her my personal mobile number, so i ended up giving her my office phone number and gave her a fake name. I did so as I was hoping that i might get some ‘freebies’ in the future. Little did I know she was so into and bought me gifts.

We met up a few times and she bought me dinner, We even go shopping at Marina Square and she bought me a watch. Although the watch is not very expensive it still cost her 200 over dollars.

Months went by and she told me she was in love with me and asked if I want to develop further in the relationship.

I am confused now. I am unsure if this is love or should i even carry on with her. I dont want my friends or family to even know her existence. They will think that my GF is a chicken.

This is why passengers must be vigilant when alighting from the right-hand side of any vehicle, and the driver should ensure the drop-off point is safe for all.

CRIMINALS OFFER TO BUY CAROUSELL AND BANK ACCOUNTS

3245675432Recently, there was a police advisory of selling Carousell accounts might become accomplices to crime.

How does it work?

In the wrong hands, a Carousell account with fake ratings can scam easily by offering items on the platform and not sending the merchandise.

How will this implicate you?

Well, your Carousell account is authenticated or registered with your personal information such as your name and phone numbers, image the account that you sold off was used scam, the police might end up catching you instead of the person the bought your account.

This is similar to how loan sharks buy bank accounts.

Loan sharks used bank accounts that are bought from people that are desperate for money, what happens next is that the bank account is used to collect debts or send money in your name!

I had a dumb friend that did that and ended up getting himself in trouble because he loan from the sharks in the first place but ended up being unable to pay up. The loan shark offered him money and told him as long he allows them to use his bank account he will not only clear his debts with them but also get pay for using his account.

That moment of greed destroy him.

It is important to secure your account with a strong password and make sure that no one else have access to it.

BEWARE OF SCAMMER SMS FAKE “OCBCBANK”

2345675432POLICE ADVISORY ON PHISHING WEBSITES

The Police have received reports where victims were cheated into providing their personal information and credit card details on phishing websites or over the phone after responding to online advertisements or Short Message Services (SMSes) that were purportedly from DBS Bank or OCBC Bank. The victims later realised that unauthorised transactions in various foreign currencies were made to their credit cards.

In these cases, the victims would either come across a Facebook advertisement or receive an SMS purportedly from one of the banks regarding investment. Upon clicking the link provided, victims were then directed to a website which promoted a new investment program or software. To sign up, victims were asked to provide their personal information, credit card details and one-time password (OTP) via an online form. In some instances, victims had provided the information over the phone after receiving a call from someone purportedly from the bank.

The Police would like to advise members of the public to adopt the following preventive measures:

a. Be wary when you are asked to click on links provided in emails and SMSes, even if they seem to be sent by organisations that you are familiar with. You should always type the URL of the official website directly onto the address bar of your web browser.

b. Look for signs that you are visiting a secure website, as phishing websites may appear genuine. Secure websites use ‘https:’ instead of ‘http:’ at the start of the internet address, or display a closed padlock or unbroken key icon at the bottom right corner of your browser window. They are generally encrypted to protect your details.

c. Be wary when you are asked to disclose your personal or banking details over the internet. Call the bank’s customer hotline number if you have any queries.

d. Report any fraudulent charges detected in your credit card bills to your bank immediately.

You can seek scam-related advice by calling the anti-scam helpline at 1800-722-6688 or go to www.scamalert.sg. You may also refer to the advisory posted on DBS Bank (https://www.dbs.com.sg/personal/deposits/security-and-you/default.page) and OCBC Bank websites (https://www.ocbc.com/personal-banking/online-banking/security_advisory.html) for more information.

Help spread the word and share this advisory with your family and friends to prevent them from being the next victim of scam.

BUYING AIR ASIA TRAVEL INSURANCE IS LIKE DONATING MONEY

234567554Hi there can u please help share ?
My friend lost his entire luggage on Air Asia on a trip to Kuching and he has been trying to get a letter from them jus to file a claim from his 3rd party insurance and all they have doing is giving him are ping pong replies and runabouts .. he is an elderly citizen jus trying to file a simple claim .
He went down personally jus to try to get a reply but
this is what happened
I flew Singapore-Kuching on Aug 7 2018 on AK1776, booking ref # KRGIXN, for a fishing trip from Aug 7-10. Upon arrival at the Kuching airport„ my check in luggage was missing.
I immediately reported the loss to the Lost & Found Asia Asia counter and was attended to by Mr Mohamed Rahiman Bin Hasli. The report ID is. BAHKCH18A00643. In my brand new luggage which I specifically bought for this trip, was my fishing reels, gears, medication and clothings. On Aug 11, before my departure
I approached the Lost & Found Counter to check if my missing luggage has been located. But they did not find my luggage. I was then advised to check with the Lost & Found office Sin Sats 2 at Terminal 4 in Singapore upon return. I checked with them upon arrival but they advised that they have checked and do not have it too.
Please note that we bought the Air Asia travel insurance.. Please advise how do I proceed with the claim as there is no clear procedure given. This has been a very disappointing experience and my whole fishing trip was affected. I lost all my expensive reels and gears.
Dear Tony, 13 of us fishing buddies flew together from Singapore-Kuching on the 7th August 2018 AK1776 booking ref: KRGIXN. Upon arrival at Kuching, one of my fishing buddies luggage was missing. He is deeply traumatized as inside his luggage are his expensive reels and others important items like his medications for his hypertension.
We reported and was desperately asking and searching around. We as a group feels for him on his loss and disappointment! No monetary compensation will actually compensate for his loss as it spoiled his whole fishing trip. We traveled often yearly (at least twice or more a year for our fishing adventure) as a group of 13 to 14 fishing buddies, this incident delayed our trip and also caused a lot of inconvenience to my dear buddy and our moods too. W
e hope that you will be able to looks into this incidence as I truly believe that Air Asia does live up to its reputation. My buddy name is Mr. Micheal Tang.
Your immediate action will be greatly appreciated by our whole group and will further adds on our confidence in your Airline. Thank you. From Joseph Sim Beng Thiam 2w Like
