At around 11am this morning, my uncle and I were headed back to Alabang from Lipa, and we decided to stop by for lunch at Chowking located in Shell gas station in Mamplasan along SLEX. While we were eating (around 11:25am), a woman approached our table and told us that our car had just been hit. I asked her what was the car model and what was the plate number of the vehicle that she was talking about, but she only repeatedly said that our car got hit and she said that it was the vehicle parked in front of Café France (exactly where we parked). I decided to head out and check whether it was indeed our car that got hit, leaving my uncle behind inside Chowking.
While I was gone, a man approached my uncle and said that his companion (pertaining to me) dropped something under the table where we were eating. Thinking that those things belonged to me, my uncle got up from where he was sitting to check on the things on the floor, leaving his bag that contained important documents and some of his personal belongings (which was on the chair beside him) momentarily. As seen on the CCTV footage, as my uncle got up, a man seated behind him stood up, picked up my uncle’s bag, hid it under his jacket, then hurriedly went out with the man who “dropped” the things under the table.
Posted here are the photos of the woman that approached me and the man who stole my uncle’s bag. I also attached the CCTV footage from the time the man approached my uncle telling him of the things under the table until the moment the bag was stolen.

About 880,000 eligible HDB households will receive the next instalment of the GST Voucher – U-Save rebate this month.
Each household will receive a GST Voucher – U-Save rebate of up to $95 this month, depending on their HDB flat type. This works out to $380 annually.
The permanent GST Voucher – U-Save scheme has enabled households in 1- and 2-Room HDB flats to offset about 3 to 4 months of their utilities bills on average. Those living in 3- and 4-Room HDB flats have 1 to 2 months of their utilities bills offset by the scheme on average.

Own a Personal Mobility Device (#PMD)? Keep them off the roads for a safer ride!
From 15 Jan 2018, the LTA will strengthen regulations on the use of PMDs in Singapore, and tougher penalties will be carried out on PMD users caught riding on roads.
To deter errant riders, first-time offenders will face a higher composition sum of up to $500 for riding on major roads, and those caught riding on expressways will be charged in court. If convicted in Court, first-time offenders can face a fine of up to $2,000 and/or 3 months jail, while repeat offenders will face stiffer penalties. Check out the infographic below for more info.

Ladies who are on Tinder or any dating apps, please be warned of this psychotic creep named Wenhui Tan. Sometimes, he goes by the alias Nowe.
My girlfriend matched with him on Tinder & they went for one lunch date on 30 Dec 2017, after which my girlfriend rejected him in a civil manner on Whatsapp (the first few screenshots).
He couldn’t deal with the rejection & he went all apeshit on her, started insulting her & her family, and even threatened to go to her workplace (she’s a teacher) to “lodge a complaint” against her. My girlfriend blocked him on Whatsapp subsequently but he turned to SMS & continued sending nasty text messages.
A police report has been made against him, with their Whatsapp conversation submitted as an evidence of harassment. While the police aren’t taking actions at the moment, what concerned me is that my girlfriend isn’t the only victim. After I shared this incident on my Instagram, to my horror, so many girls came forward & called him out—each sharing their experiences with him. They were mostly similar: that he couldn’t handle the rejection & started insulting + threatening women.
I want all of you—men & women alike—to know that no one needs to cower to such bullying. To all the women & girls out there, we live in a world with equality. We are in no way less superior just because we are born females.
Men may view women as sexual objects but we have our pride & we deserve respect no less as a person. Not all men are like that, though. Believe that there are good men out there & if one man doesn’t appreciate you, move on. Do not settle.
Do not let men insult & degrade you the way Wenhui did to all these poor girls. We are NOT supposed to feel low nor are we commodities for men to discuss, play with & rid of. We have to protect ourselves & be strong. Stand up & speak up against such douchebags. Do not suffer in silence.
