MAN COOKS EXPENSIVE AROWANA FISH FOR DINNER!

A Facebook user-uploaded photos of him preparing Arowana fish for a meal.
Arowana is well known for the colour of scales which are typically golden or red colour. At one point in time when the fish was popular, pet owners will spend few thousand dollars just to have it at home for good feng shui.
Netizens are shocked when photos of this expensive fish are seen made into a steam fish.

MY GF CHEATED ON WITH MY BUNKMATES WHO I CALLED “BRO”!
When I was serving my BMT, I made friends with many of my bunkmates, one of them called A. He’s rich, smart, good-looking – basically he was really well put together. At that time, I was dating this girl called C, we met in JC1. C was (and is) really special to me, we had amazing chemistry and spent a lot of time together. Well in NS, A excelled (encik/officer liked him, OCS etc) however I wasn’t envious about what he had, after all he probably deserved the good treatment he got. I was just grateful I had C. During our ORD meetup with our BMT bunkmates, we had a party where some of us brought our gfs.
Of course, I brought C. Turned out to be a big mistake, I found out (much later) that they had exchanged Facebook contacts and had been getting to know each other after that party. Oblivious to what was happening, I continued to go out with C. Things changed rapidly when I joined NUS, where C suddenly became cold towards me. I didn’t go for FOCs because I didn’t want her to be jealous or worried (my faculty has a high girl %). She did go for FOC for a different faculty, where life decided to be kind to A and C, placing them in the same group where I’m sure they got to know each other better.
After her FOC, I met C about four times, with her getting more distant, finally choosing to break up with me via Whatsapp. It’s been 3 years and I only learnt a few months back that she broke up with me because A was rich and good-looking [*paraphrased] and she felt like she was being short-changed with me. Despite A’s value, I have also heard that A and C’s relationship is on the rocks…
C****** my soulmate and my life, I want you to know that I still care for you and love you deeply. Not a day has gone by that I have not recalled the happy memories that we shared together. Neither has a day gone by that I have not experienced the crushing pain of being apart from you. I acknowledge that I was not the perfect boyfriend that I could have been. I also want you to know that while I am unable to change my appearance beyond a certain extent, I am determined to do my best in life and earn enough to make us both comfortable, prosperous and happy. DOG DIES AFTER EATING SPIKED BREAD WITH TOXIN @ SERRANGOON
A dog died after eating a piece of bread intended for killing pigeons. The owner was walking her dog along Lorong Lew Lian when the dog found a piece of bread and ate it before the owner could stop it. Within 15mins of eating the bread, the dog starting foaming at the mouth.
It has been reported that Marine parade town council contracted a pest buster to cull pigeons about two weeks ago. At the area where the dog found the bread.
The town council could not comment as there is no official autopsy linking the dog’s death to the pigeon culling.
SHADY CONTRACTOR TOLD MY MOM THAT HERE TO CHECK THE CEILING AND HAD AN INVOICE!
***Update 21/11/17 – Police Report has officially been filed. Will update as the case progresses. Town council has also put up notices in the neighborhood clarifying that they have not engaged any contractors. (Notice in comments)
Shady “contractor” went to my house earlier this evening when my mother was home alone and said he was there to inspect our ceiling and had an invoice.
My mother asked for his tag and he didnt want to show. He then threatened to take my mother’s photo too.
After closing the door, the “contractor” returned to my house with another man with a laser pointer trying to intimidate my mother but she refused to open the door.
Please be careful!

HIT AND RUN @ ECP TOWARDS CITY LOOKING FOR WITNESS! PLEASE HELP TO SHARE!
On 16/11/2017 at about 1750hour -1800hour, I was riding KTM Duke FBF7298G on highway from ECP towards City at I was riding in between the 1st and second lane. At lamp post 320 on the 6km mark of ECP a Red Volkswagen car shifted slightly to the left and hit the front of my bike. Thus causing me and my pillion to fall from the bike and rolled over a distance .
Short after i stand up and turn over to my pillon to check if his okay . Cars behind stop saw the whole scene but did not see the car plate number as the car drove off very fast after that. Subsequently, i called the police, and the traffic police and ambulance came. **** Police Report have been made.
But i need help, any kind souls out there, if you happened to be there during the date and the time, could anyone please be my witness/ video that had the whole incident. Please pm me for this reckless driver hit and run case or contact me at 84287502, the driver haven’t been found yet. Please help to share around, will be very thankful for it!

Wild boar shot by Police after endangering public safety!
On 21 Nov 2017 at 7.08pm, the Police were alerted to an accident involving a wild boar and a car on Punggol West Flyover. The injured wild boar was lying on the road when Police officers and ACRES personnel arrived at the location. The wild boar got up and charged towards the officers and members of the public within the vicinity. The officers fired their Tasers at the boar, but it continued to charge towards them and the public.
As the wild boar was rampaging and was a danger to the people within the vicinity, an officer had to draw his revolver to fire a shot at it, to stop it from injuring anyone. The wild boar was shot at the neck. The tusked wild boar measured 1.5m from head to tail. The injured wild boar was handed over to the ACRES personnel and subsequently euthanised. No one was injured in the incident.

SEEKING FOR WITNESS FOR ACCIDENT AT KJE TOWARDS THOMSON! PLEASE HELP TO SHARE!
Hi all, I know I don’t usually post things here, but this time round I really need as many people to share this for awareness and for any witnesses of the accident to step forward in helping identify the culprit.
This afternoon, 21st Nov, around 1pm my dad was driving on KJE towards Thomson and his car was hit from the rear by a truck and was subsequently hit from the rear again by another lorry before hitting the central divider.
Now, the thing is this truck driver once he hit my dad’s car, he didn’t even stop to check before running away from the scene.
Hoping that any drivers or witnesses having a camera footage of this incident can contact me, so that we can arrest this driver and put him in jail. Nobody on the road should act like this, putting other drivers’ life in danger. Whilst he had ran away, had he ever thought that the driver in the car that he had collided with, was a sibling, a husband and a father to somebody?
I plead all of you to help spread this and hopefully we can bring justice to this unresponsible driver.
For now, I am just glad my dad suffered from a few scratches and a slightly fractured hand.

NETIZEN CLAIMS FRIEND BORROW ABOUT 15K FROM HIM THEN DISAPPEAR!
**Don’t want anyone to fall into my footsteps so I’m just sharing. Hope after reading this no one else will fall into this con man’s trap and go thru what I’ve been through.**
Let me make his name known, he is Lawerence. On facebook he’s known as Lawerence Zo (that’s before he block me, now I’m not sure)
If you ever see this, blame yourself for pushing me to do it until like this. I have enough of your bullshit/lies. To all his drinking buddies/friends who know him as a “baller” do re-think your mindset. He’s balling with the money he has coned from many, people’s hard earn money.
For mine, he has made me borrow money from my parents, moneylenders, signing lines with telcos, electrical department stores and also in between borrowing money from friends to so called “wait for the profit to come” before I can pay my friends back. Total suming up to near to 15k sgd. Aside from “his balling” he is also a gambler. Simple to put it, you put money or lend money to him you’ll never get it back. So do think twice.
I don’t know where to start, this happened nearly 2 years back. Chance after chance I gave him to actually repent and pay me back the money he cheated me but no, eventually he blocked me and just don’t wanna pay. Ok so here’s how it goes… He will claim to tell you “do you wanna earn more money? I have business here that can eventually help you.
” Hearing that, as I’m a single dad I would of course love to if I could improve my life for my family and i. You may think I’m stupid enough but I guess sometimes there’s a first time to everything. You just have to learn it the hard way. Once you trust the wrong person, you’re fked. Worst of all, at the beginning I asked him nicely. Is what you’re doing real? If it’s not, please just let me know I can still forgive you and forget. I really don’t have such money to play along as I have a mouth to feed at home. He told me nope, it’s legit you don’t trust me meh. Eventually carrying on, finding money for him to “fund the business.”
After settling the actual amount he will text me few days later saying need somemore because something c**k up, something delay. Here not enough, there not enough but it was all lies, he used that money for his own expenses, going to other countries to drink, womanise, gamble. Well he did returned me $100 after that but dude you con me near to 15K, you claim you’ll pay me back you’re admit your mistakes so now where are you? Putting me in a spot where moneylenders, lawyer letter coming up to my house and all you can say is I no money. Now still asking for IOU? No IOU no money? Wow. If I draw my bank statements, cctv footage from the point of time you think there’s no proof? Left me with so much shit to settle hence you running to Yangon, Thailand, Macau. Eating big spending big.
Where your shame? Still can talk in a way like it’s not your business, it’s not your problem now. Tell me you’re innocent, I ask you to show the statements you can’t show. Keep hiding like a mouse. Even when you had money, I know it a small amount but you still can’t even be bothered to make the effort to pass me back a single cent, only bothering about yourself and your selfish habits. FYI, he still said to me when I got money YOU SHOULD HAVE COME TO ME WHEN I ASKED U TO. Then I can pass to you. You owe me money, i have to ask you and most imptly, how am I suppose to know you have money? I can track your bank account? You admitted to your mistakes and assured that you will settle it so isn’t it you who should be the one telling me that you have more money now and you can pass back money to me? I don’t wanna say so much. If anyone feels I’m bullshitting about him, feel free to hit me up. I still have the screen shots of him actually showing his arrogance towards me, admitting that he still does owe me money and he want to return it to me ASAP but it’s all words no action.
Fortunately, I have people that helped me through this dark times but making big mistakes comes with heavy consequences. And yes, I had to pay everything off slowly going through all the suffering and scolding up down left right. Least I’m not to the extend when it has just happened where I couldn’t even have money to buy food for myself on a daily basis. So for that, I’m thankful.
Hope after sharing this, i can raise more awareness and stop others from going thru what I’ve been through. Lesson learnt, especially issues concerning with money, cannot take it lightly. I learnt my lesson the hard way and I will not wish for anyone to ever go thru what I’ve been through.
