BEWARE! INVESTMENT SCAM “ALIBABA ASSET FINANCIAL INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS”

It has been reported that a man was almost conned by investment scam who claims that they are a subsidiary of the famous Alibaba.com. Read the netizen’s account below

Hi all,

BEWARE PLEASE SHARE AND INFORM YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILIES

Beware of ALIBABA ASSET FINANCIAL INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS, I was approached by a PRC man claiming that he is an investment officer from Alibaba. He told me that it is more like an ad-hoc part time job rather than an investment.

He says that currently Alibaba is building megaplex industrial officers at Beijing and currently looking to expand in Singapore, but will require local Singaporeans to help as the law forbids them to openly start an investment business in Singapore. (Not sure what kind of law he talking about)

He said that I will be looking at a return of 120% after my initial investment and commitment into the company. All I need to do is fill up the forms and transfer $8000 dollars to be given the platinum membership of the company. He also mentioned that that annual interest yields at 6%. I will be given 6% of my investment yearly. If I were to lock in the amount of 5 years without collecting the interest. I will be getting twice the interest on the 6th year.

I told him that $8000 is too much I cant afford it. He told me to try to get the gold membership at $5000 dollars but the interest rate is lower. He even suggests me to get help with friends to enrol in the platinum membership.

He also claims that If I were to intro a friend I would be given $500 referral bonus.

After investing all I need to do is sign up my friends and earn more.

Later I asked him about the account number to transfer to. He gave me a POSB savings account. That moment I knew this was too good to be true.

He really is a Alibaba

ANG MOH FT CHEAT TAXI. UNTIL POLICE FORCE HIM TO PAY.

A netizen has shared his unpleasant experience with a Caucasian fare cheat, who not only tried to avoid paying his fare once, but also did it twice in a row!

According to the netizen, the ang moh got into a taxi from the Swiss club, which was celebrating an Octoberfest event on 2 separate nights. However, upon reaching his destination, he would try to pay using his credit card but somehow get his PIN number wrong. When he could not get it to work, he would then ask for the driver to swipe the credit card, which would also not work.

Finally, he would claim that has no other cash or cards to settle the fare and propose to transfer the next day.

Thankfully, the driver on the second night sought advice from fellow taxi drivers, who verified that the same Caucasian had tried to do the same thing only a night before. When asked to pay up, the ang moh would avoid all calls and refuse to pay.

The police were finally called in and the ang moh was forced to call his girlfriend to come down to pay his bills. According to many other drivers, this is not the first time he has done something like this and one driver had allegedly even been beaten up by the ang moh for demanding for his fare.

PRC MAN JAILED AFTER TAKING UPSKIRT VIDEO OF WOMAN AT HEARTLAND MALL

In yet another evidence that Singapore now is a country full of perverts, two men had just been jailed in separate cases of insulting the modesty of women.

Chinese national and former engineer Gu Wei Wei, 29 was jailed for 6 weeks after admitting to two counts of taking an upskirt video for a woman at a Cold Storage supermarket at Kovan Heartland Mall in April. Gu, a Singapore PR, had placed his iPhone in a plastic bag and slit a horizontal opening at the side of it. He positioned the camera upwards, leaning it against the opening and set it to video recording mode.

He was caught when another woman who suspected him of taking her upskirt video recognised him, and the husband caught Gu in the act of trying to take another woman’s upskirt video.

In another case, car salesman Jason Toh Hah Soon, 33, was jailed for 18 weeks. In his case, 428 upskirt photos taken from September to December last year, was recovered from his phone. He was detained by a woman while in the act of taking an upskirt photo at Dhoby Ghaut MRT last year.
