Netizen has the video of 2 E-scooter riders riding dangerously through traffic. Is this even lawfully??? They are not only endangering themselves but also other users of the road.

The 43 years old woman was puzzled after she’s been receiving messages asking for ” special services “, which she found out that someone had listed her as a freelancer on a social website. The victim said that the website even stated that she had to look after her kids in the morning and would only be available after 9 pm.

She added that she had received a WhatsApp message from a anonymous person last weekend who asked if she’s free for “booking ”. “After I read the message, I was fuming. It seemed to insinuate that I was providing some sort of s**ual services. I immediately asked him how he got my number. He told me that it was via a friends’ introduction but later said that he had dialed the wrong number.”

“Only after I threatened to call the cops, did he tell me that he had gotten my number from a website. He kept apologising after that.” Within two hours, she received another message from a stranger, asking to book her for ‘services’. It was followed by a string of similar messages on WeChat.

At the end of her ropes, she decided to call the police. She added “I am a businesswoman. I have never done anything illegal. To be defamed like this is really upsetting.”

I live in bukit merah view which is a very old estate with high percentage of old folks. Tangkis or Home Shrines are a plenty here.The open field between blk 123/130 is frequently rented out to taoist/religious groups who will burn large amounts of incense papers daily.

In the picture, u can see home shrine devotees burning large amounts of incense papers in concrete octagon burner beside blk 129, leaving behind large quantities of ashes which will be carried by winds to our homes and lungs.

u can even see a devotee from home shrine burning large container of food/incense powder around 12am and it continues to burn throughout the night, thus another sleepless night for residents of blk 123 and surrounding blocks.

I hope the town council, member of parliament and government agencies can step in to control these activites so largescale burning of incense papers can be controlled.bukit merah view is our homes, not a “Home Shrines Haven”, please help.

I was wearing a tee shirt and skorts (nowhere revealing) while waiting for bus and caught this uncle secretly taking photos and videos of me. I wasn’t sure if he was taking photos of me so I hid behind a board to see if he follows and sure he did!!!

I confronted him to stop but caught him secretly taking it again shortly after.

So I confronted him again!

He refused to delete the photos/videos even though I SAW photos/videos of ME in his camera roll and recently deleted album!!

When I took out my phone to take video of him as evidence, he was shaken by my move and started calling me crazy. He refused to stay when I wanted to call the police. He escaped the scene by crossing the road and boarded a random bus that came!

You can clearly hear him say “I delete already” in the video and then deny again by saying “No la, I don’t take anything”.

He was in office wear (Pen in his shirt pocket, laptop shoulder bag and covered shoes)

Who knows what he does to the pictures taken and how many photos of girls have he taken without permission?

It is dangerous to have a pervert around this area as there are many primary and secondary school students around.

I am utterly disgusted by his action.

Would really appreciate if someone can help to identity this uncle.

A young 5 year-old boy has died in hospital from his injuries after he was struck by a falling tree along Bukit Timah.

The incident took place at 4PM on 17 August.

The boy’s father had brought his whole family over to Singapore while he is here for work. The family were out and about along Bukit Timah when the tree fell, striking the boy and causing him serious injuries.

A call for prayer was posted on Facebook by a church friend asking for the boy’s friends and family members to pray for his recovery.

Doctors could not operate on the boy as his condition was unstable
